The doctor stared at the cart he had just wiped clean and fell silent for a long time.

Then a third, steady voice came from the computer.
“I’ll raise this matter at a later meeting. The problem right now is how to convince that young man to continue working with us.”
“What if I take some men and drag him back?”
“I bet he’d run off to that little island of his the very next day.”
“Then what do we do? Offer him money?”
The voice from the computer paused. “Forget money and honors. The kid has no shortage of either.”
At that, they all felt a headache coming on.
Researchers generally cared about one of three things.
Money, honors, or fame.
But according to the psychologists’ assessment, this kid genuinely didn’t seem to care about anything.
His only weakness was the Amusement Park, and that was the one thing they absolutely couldn’t touch.

Zhang Bei led the two of them into the Amusement Park. When he saw Li Yang waiting nearby, fully prepared, a smile spread across his face.
“They’re the new safety officers for the Swimming Pool. Show them our tradition.”
“You got it, Boss!”
Li Yang was probably the employee most familiar with the Amusement Park.
He had personally tried just about every attraction in the entire Amusement Park.
And when it came to tradition, Li Yang followed it to the letter!
After watching Zhang Bei disappear into the distance, Li Yang immediately put on an honest, good-natured smile.
“You might not know this, but the boss says Amusement Park employees aren’t allowed to start work until they’ve personally tried the attractions and gotten to know them!”
Shi Ang returned his smile. “Then we’ll be counting on you.”
“No trouble at all. I’m Li Yang. See anything you’d like to try?”
Shi Ang looked around carefully. There were already plenty of visitors lined up in front of most of the attractions.
Since it was their first day on the job, it was probably best not to compete with the visitors for a spot.
“The Giant Swing doesn’t seem too crowded. How about that one?”
Cong Hongdou glanced at it. “Fine by me.”
Li Yang led them all the way to the Giant Swing.

“New employees?”
“Yeah. The boss said to let them experience the tradition.”
“Then hurry up and get on!”
Only after the two of them had put on protective suits and fastened their safety restraints did Professor Yao break into a smile.
“They’re from the Swimming Pool?”
Li Yang sighed. “Yeah. That’s the most boring place in the park.”
He wasn’t wrong. Since the Amusement Park already had diving facilities, Zhang Bei hadn’t put many special features into the Swimming Pool.
