A smile played at the corners of Xiang Mei’s eyes. “Come on. Let’s have some fun today!”
The two of them made their way to the Ferris Wheel.
The park had only just opened for the afternoon, so there weren’t many couples in line. Before long, they were seated inside a glass cabin.
A few minutes later, the entire Ferris Wheel slowly began to move.
Xiang Mei admired the scenery while Nangong Guo tried to figure out where he had slipped up.
At last, Xiang Mei’s voice broke the silence.
“My dad isn’t healthy enough to keep managing the factory anymore.”
