The Vampire pressed the pause button.
For a moment, the only sound in the vast room was the slightly heavy breathing of several people.
That Toad was massive and disgusting; the Rich guy couldn’t help but gag.
“Holy crap, what the hell is that thing!”
The expressions of the Players behind him weren’t much better.
This was the most revolting creature they had encountered since entering the Game.
The Vampire remained as calm as ever. After replacing the coffin lid, he returned to Yun Youyou’s side.
Su Yurou frowned, her cold voice hiding a trace of loathing.
“I want to go and eliminate this Toad. What do you all think?”
Su Yurou’s gaze swept across the group, noting their varying expressions.
The Rich guy wasn’t one to back down easily either.
“Of course we have to kill it! Leaving such a disgusting thing in the world is practically an assault on my eyes!”
“What about you two?”
Su Yurou looked toward the two Players who had remained silent.
The two male Players glanced at each other before finally hanging their heads in defeat.
“We… we think we’ll pass.”
The female Player who died was neither kin nor friend to them.
They just wanted to make it out of the Game alive.
The Rich guy opened his mouth to say something.
However, Su Yurou beat him to it. “It’s fine. Everyone has their own choice to make.”
Seeing this, the Rich guy didn’t push further, only asking, “But where do we find that Toad now?”
Su Yurou replied, “It seems to have some intelligence. If we go looking for it directly, it likely won’t show itself. We can only wait for the right moment and let it walk into a trap.”
The Rich guy asked, “What if the damn thing doesn’t come out?”
Su Yurou said, “Then we’ll just have to lure it out.”
In the end, everyone decided to return to the Youyou Restaurant first to discuss their next move.

And this time, there was one more person in the group.
Yun Youyou rested her chin on her hand, leaning bored against the counter.

The moment they entered the Youyou Restaurant, the Rich guy had grabbed a bag of bok choy from the kitchen, snatched a stainless steel basin, and shoved them into the Vampire’s hands.
“If you want to stay in the Youyou Restaurant, everyone has to do some work.”
The Vampire looked at the greens and the basin in his hands, then looked up at the Rich guy.
“Then what do you do?”
The Rich guy said proudly, “I’m in charge of the cooking.”
He then pointed to the Players sitting at the tables.
“They’re in charge of cleaning.”
Finally, he pointed at the Red-haired Trendy Guy and Shamate. “They’re in charge of bringing in customers.”
Seeing that everyone had a job, the Vampire accepted the greens and the basin without complaint and began to wash them clumsily.
Looking at his fair, handsome face, Yun Youyou felt a twinge of guilt, as if she were employing child labor.
So, Yun Youyou chose to turn her head away.
That way, she wouldn’t feel any guilt at all.
For some reason, Shamate and the Red-haired Trendy Guy felt a bit frightened of that Vampire.
Even though he looked harmless, the way he looked at them always made Shamate and the Red-haired Trendy Guy feel uneasy.

Rich guy snapped his head up.
“Are you going to go in my place?”
Su Yurou said, “No. I’m saying you’ll just have to go with your eyes closed. If you can’t see, you probably won’t be as scared.”
Rich guy cried even louder.
The Red-haired Trendy Guy looked at him with disdain.
“Can you act like a man for once?”
No matter how reluctant Rich guy felt, he eventually ended up standing by the Well to serve as bait.
He stood there in despair, blindfolded.

He really shouldn’t have covered his eyes.
Fear of the unknown was the most terrifying of all.
Even a light breeze passing by was enough to make Rich guy tremble with fear.
After an unknown amount of time, a bright red, slender tongue slowly crept out of the Well, snaking toward Rich guy’s ankle.
Hidden in the shadows, Su Yurou’s gaze turned sharp.
She lunged out from the darkness, swinging her axe down hard toward the tongue.
However, the tongue was incredibly agile.
Rich guy was startled by the whistling wind near his ear.
“Oh my god!”
He shrieked and jumped to the side, ripping off the black cloth covering his eyes.
When he saw the large axe in Su Yurou’s hand, he nearly jumped out of his skin.
*Mama, why are the women in this Game all so violent?!*
It was safe to say that Rich guy had the smallest amount of courage among everyone present.
He scrambled away like his pants were on fire, hiding behind Yun Youyou.
The corner they were in was barely the size of a palm, but Rich guy squeezed himself right up against the Vampire.
“Is there any way to lure that Toad out?” Rich guy asked piteously.
Yun Youyou replied, “Prepare a swan.”
“A swan?” Rich guy was puzzled. “Why?”
Yun Youyou said, “Because the toad wants to eat swan meat.”
Rich guy: “…Now is not the time for cold jokes.”
As he spoke, he kept crowding toward Yun Youyou, his pale, flabby fat nearly pressing against her.
The Vampire’s handsome brow furrowed slightly.
“Could you stay away from Miss Yun?”
Rich guy turned his head and said righteously, “No! I’m afraid that Toad will come up.”
The Vampire thought for a moment.
“You mean to say that as long as that Toad disappears, you’ll stay away from Miss Yun?”
Rich guy replied, “Well, if you put it that way, I guess so.”
The Vampire nodded.
“Alright, I understand.”
Rich guy: “??? What do you understand?”
Before Rich guy could figure it out, the Vampire pushed past him and walked toward the Well.
Seeing him approach, Su Yurou gave a kind warning, “Don’t get too close, or you’ll be dragged down.”
