“Where did you wash your hair? Can you tell us?”

They hadn’t showered since entering this Instance. Their hair had long since become a greasy, tangled mess; it felt oily to the touch and smelled of rancid grease mixed with sweat.

Even they found themselves repulsive, so they had simply shoved hats onto their heads, following the philosophy of “out of sight, out of mind.”

Yun Youyou didn’t understand why they were so excited, to the point that they were practically crowding into her face.

She shrank back slightly. “I just… washed it in the restroom.”

“You can’t wash anything in the restrooms here. They’ve been taken over by ghosts. Even if you turn on the tap, it’s blood that comes out, not water. Plus, ghosts pop out of the mirrors to scare you. It’s terrifying!”

Upon hearing that Yun Youyou had washed her hair in the restroom, the two women were instantly crestfallen.

Seeing the disappointment on their faces, Yun Youyou spoke up. “If you don’t mind, how about I take you there to wash your hair? I think the ghosts here are actually quite… understanding?”

“Understanding?”

The Short-haired Girl let out a scoff. “Understanding, my foot. They’re just a bunch of bullies who prey on the weak. They’re nothing but gutter rats hiding in the sewers. If they’ve got the guts, they should come out and fight me to the death!”

Only powerful people like the Captain could wash up in the restrooms without batting an eye.

The Long-haired Girl, however, was a bit tempted.

Her hair was simply too greasy, and she had been losing a lot of it lately. She had spent so much effort maintaining it with essential oils and conditioners; just seeing the fallen strands made her heart break.

“Maybe we should give it a try. Anyway, the Zombie Ghosts around here have mostly been dealt with. If it doesn’t work out, we can just come back.”

The two discussed it and finally decided to give it a shot.

“Captain, we want to go to the restroom to wash our hair. We’ll be back in a bit.”

The two of them pulled Yun Youyou along to find Su Gou.

Su Gou was currently speaking with someone nearby. His expression was icy, and a chilling aura emanated from between his handsome brows.

His expression didn’t improve much when he looked over at the three of them.

Hearing that they wanted to go wash their hair, Su Gou’s gaze swept over the tops of their heads as he let out a sharp snort.

“Wash? What’s there to wash? You should be grateful just to be alive. Don’t waste your energy on such unimportant things.”

The two girls pouted.

Yun Youyou instinctively glanced at Su Gou’s hair.

It was very fluffy-so fluffy it looked as if it had just been washed today.

“Captain, then why is your hair so fluffy?”

Yun Youyou’s dark, almond-shaped eyes were clear and innocent as she silently stared at the top of Su Gou’s head.

The Short-haired Woman and the Long-haired Woman also looked at Su Gou’s hair together.

Su Gou felt as if the top of his head was about to catch fire.

Faced with Yun Youyou’s inquisitive gaze, the tips of his ears began to burn.

He appeared quite restless and ill at ease, coughing awkwardly a few times. There was a hint of discomfort in his upturned phoenix eyes.

In truth, he snuck into the restroom every night to wash his hair.

“Ahem… well, if you’re going, then go quickly. Do you need me to go with you?”

Su Gou hurriedly changed the subject.

“No need, we can go by ourselves.”

The Short-haired Woman politely declined Su Gou’s offer.

It felt a bit embarrassing to have the Captain waiting around while they washed their hair.

“Fine, then get going.”

Su Gou waved them off as if shooing away flies.

“By the way, you two remember to keep a close eye on her. Don’t let her run off.”
Su Gou remained wary of Yun Youyou.

As the saying goes, the prettier the woman, the better she is at lying. Given Yun Youyou’s level of beauty, she had to be a top-tier deceiver; he had to stay on high alert.

“Don’t worry, Captain. We’ll make sure she’s kept under tight watch.”

Before long, the three of them appeared in the corridor.

Yun Youyou looked at her hands and fell into a silent gloom.

Her left hand was tied with a rope to the Long-haired Woman’s hand, while her other hand was tied to the Short-haired Woman’s hand.

The corridor didn’t have a single light.

Yun Youyou finally understood exactly how harsh the “harsh environment” Doctor Lan mentioned really was.

In the pitch-black corridor, massive craters appeared on the floor from time to time, all blasted out by artillery shells.

Looking down, one could see various blurred blood clots and human tissue on the ground. Intestines and internal organs were strewn everywhere, making the floor slippery to step on.

Fortunately, they didn’t encounter any monsters or ghosts along the way.

They finally reached the restroom at the end of the corridor.

There were two neat rows of stalls, completely empty, with only the ceiling lights flickering intermittently.

The two women led Yun Youyou over to the sinks.

One of them turned on a faucet.

Nothing happened; not even a drop of water came out.

After about thirty seconds, a sudden roar erupted from the pipes.

Then, a massive spray of fresh blood surged out of the plumbing, splashing directly onto the three of them.

Everything in sight turned a vivid, bright red.

With her wrists tied to the other two, Yun Youyou was forced to stand at the front. Even her hair was soaked, blood dripping down strand by strand.

Yun Youyou: !!!

She was having a mental breakdown.

Washing a woman’s hair is one of the most troublesome chores in the world. This ghost had actually sprayed some unknown liquid all over her head-it was absolutely unforgivable.

Yun Youyou’s fists tightened.

The Short-haired Woman wiped her face. “See, I told you. There’s no water here at all.”

They had been sprayed several times already and were long since used to it.

Just then, a dark shadow suddenly appeared in the mirror above the sink.

Long black hair covered half of the Female Ghost’s face. One could vaguely see her eyes dripping blood, filled with undisguised malice. Her wicked smile was enough to make anyone’s skin crawl.

“Hehehe…”

“Hahaha…”

The malicious laughter echoed through the empty restroom.

This Female Ghost was being way too much of a brat!

Yun Youyou’s fists tightened further.

The Female Ghost looked smugly at the three disheveled women.

Heh, she loved seeing that look on people’s faces-the look of being pissed off but unable to do anything about her.

“Hehehe, you can’t get me! Come in here if you’ve got the guts!”

Knowing full well that it was impossible for anyone to enter, the Female Ghost in the mirror continued her provocation.

Even the two Players, who were used to being bullied by the Female Ghost, were fuming with rage.

The Female Ghost smugly stuck out her long tongue and wagged it at them mockingly.

Yun Youyou: …

In the next second, the Female Ghost’s tongue was suddenly grabbed by a hand.

Female Ghost: ???

Before she could figure out how Yun Youyou’s hand had reached into the mirror, she felt her tongue being yanked with immense force.

Female Ghost: My tongue!!!

The tongue, which was originally three feet long, was forcibly stretched to five feet.

Then, the entire Female Ghost was hauled out of the mirror by Yun Youyou, crashing onto the floor in front of the three of them.

The Long-haired Woman and the Short-haired Woman: !!!
