Without lifting his head, the old man said, “Finished already? You’re wasting far too much food.”
He assumed Yun Youyou had gotten full after only a few bites and was about to urge her to eat more.
Then he looked up and discovered the bowl in front of her was empty. Forget the noodles; there was not even a mouthful of broth left.
Yun Youyou did not normally eat much either.
It was just that the Game had no real delicacies. She had filled her stomach with Toads and spiders, and now that she finally had the chance to eat something delicious, she had overindulged.
Driven by a strange competitive spirit, the old man lifted his own bowl and drank all the broth.
As a guest living under someone else’s roof, Yun Youyou volunteered to clean up the takeout containers.

She started to pull it out, then stopped with her hand halfway there.

The iron gate at the entrance slowly slid open.
Noticing the movement outside, Yun Youyou curiously poked half her head around the window.
A sober black Maybach slowly drove into the yard.
This must be the old man’s CEO grandson.
At the crucial moment, the old man was nowhere around. Faced with the prospect of meeting a stranger, Yun Youyou felt her social anxiety threatening to relapse.
The old man upstairs had also heard the movement below.

“Remember! You’re my grandniece from the countryside. Call me Grandpa and follow my lead!”

The old man glared at her in exasperation.
“If we give ourselves away, you’re finished.”
At last, the villa door opened.
The CEO grandson revealed his true form.
He wore a perfectly tailored black suit. Both the expensive watch on his wrist and his custom-made tie gave off the fragrance of money.
Even his face was remarkably handsome. No one knew which novel this noble male lead had stepped out of.
The distinguished air surrounding him made the entire villa glitter with golden light.

In this noble and elegant atmosphere, Yun Youyou shyly spoke under the old man’s anxious gaze.
