She tilted her head to listen for a moment and realized the sound was coming from the Well in the courtyard.
Seeing the rock pressed down on top of the Well, Yun Youyou remembered that she had indeed placed a stone there just in case.
Looking at it now, that move had been absolutely correct.
Seeing Yun Youyou start walking forward again, the Rich guy quickly called out, “Aren’t you going to see what’s inside the Well?”
Without turning her head, Yun Youyou said, “What’s there to see? It’s just a ghost, isn’t it?”
“What do you mean ‘just a ghost’! That’s a ghost!”
Yun Youyou gave him a strange look. “You’re making a fuss over nothing.”
The Rich guy countered, “But if I don’t look, I’ll feel restless. My damn curiosity won’t let me just walk away.”
Yun Youyou said, “Then go look!”
The Rich guy replied, “But I’m scared…”
Yun Youyou was cold and ruthless. “Then don’t look.”
The Rich guy acted pitiful. “But I want to see…”
After saying that, he stepped directly in front of Yun Youyou to block her path.
Yun Youyou: “…”
Rather than wasting time here, it was better to just go take a look.

“You, go move that rock.”
