Mu Xin was flying around nearby, listening to everyone’s conversations.
They were discussing the ball.
She faintly heard some information about its host.
The young woman who had stood on the platform and led the dance was not tonight’s host. She was merely an invited guest. The true host had yet to appear.
The ball had been underway for some time, yet its host still had not appeared?
Mu Xin found that puzzling.
She had never attended a real ball, but she had read novels and watched television. Didn’t the host usually perform the opening dance? Why hold a ball without appearing at the beginning? Was the host waiting to make a grand entrance at the finale?

The man holding her was extraordinarily muscular. Mu Xin tilted her head back for a long time before she could even see his face. Compared to the surrounding guests, he had to be at least two meters tall.

Lu Jing grabbed Qin Weiyi with one hand and sprinted toward the voice.
“Lu Jing!” Mu Xin cried while struggling. “Let go of me!”
The man lifted Mu Xin level with his face. “The Flower Prince’s fiancée?”
Mu Xin: “?”
What was he talking about?
Mu Xin did not understand at all and continued struggling. “Let me go right now!”
The man did not need her answer. His gaze settled on her wings. After confirming them, he nodded. “No mistake. It’s you.”
Mu Xin: “???”
What the hell?
Holding Mu Xin, the man began walking toward the exit. She could not break free and had no choice but to scream Lu Jing’s name with all her strength.
Lu Jing or anyone else–it did not matter, as long as someone came. With her current abilities, she had no hope of escaping alone.
Mu Xin still remembered to open the Points Mall and search for something useful, but unfortunately found nothing. In the end, she could only keep shouting Lu Jing’s name.

Qin Weiyi frowned.
The answer had already surfaced in his mind, but he could not say it.
He considered how to express his idea with gestures, only to realize it was extremely difficult.

She stared at him blankly. “Me? What about me?”
Lu Jing also looked at Qin Weiyi. “Xiao Qin, what are you trying to say?”
Qin Weiyi paused, pointed at Lu Jing, then tugged at Lu Jing’s clothes.
Lu Jing looked baffled. “What does that mean, Xiao Qin? Do I need to take my clothes off again?”
