Bo Suihan had originally thought the boy was sharp, so he hadn’t spelled the matter out in detail. Still, when he punished him, he had more or less alluded to it.

He stood, patted Wu Xiaojiu on the shoulder to indicate he was going to get a glass of water, then turned and left.

“You didn’t even know that? You didn’t pick up on any of it? Bo Suihan’s malice toward you was practically overflowing through the screen, and you still thought he was just kidnapping you for no reason?”
The boy narrowed his eyes. He turned his head with a hiss, and when he looked back again, he couldn’t help licking the blood at the corner of his mouth before smiling at Wu Xiaojiu.
He belonged to the especially beautiful type. His eyes curved when he smiled, large but not round. His nose was a standard little upturned European-style nose, his lips full and plush, and his brows had clearly been carefully shaped and groomed. Perhaps beauty, when taken to its extreme, naturally leaned feminine; he looked like a lovely little porcelain doll.
Only, he was a porcelain doll that Bo Suihan had beaten. The blood at the corner of his mouth had not dried yet and was still gushing out.
He looked rather pitiful.
“I remember where I’ve seen you now. With looks like yours, you’re not someone people forget easily. But that day I was drugged, then beaten up too, and I was so weak my memory got a little blurry. You’re that paparazzo who got hauled down here with me, right?”
Wu Xiaojiu nodded hard.
The boy looked at him, all fair and tender from being well taken care of, the flesh and skin on his body as pale and delicate as a newborn piglet’s.
He clicked his tongue softly.
“We’re supposed to be in the same position, so why are you being kept so well while I get beaten and cursed at every day? Did you seduce him? I tried seducing him too. Why did he slap me twice and kick me twice?”
The boy could not make sense of it. He could only pout and stare at Wu Xiaojiu with naked envy.
Wu Xiaojiu was stupid, but sometimes he could be oddly sharp. From the conversation just now, it was not hard for him to guess the boy’s identity. Especially with the clues the System had provided, he was certain this boy was the descendant of that person from before, the one who had been the same age and in the same class as the Eldest Son of the Bo Family.

After Wu Xiaojiu finished sorting through all this in his head, he leaned closer to the boy and whispered sneakily, “How did you get abducted here? Also, did your dad never tell you what he did? How can you be so calm about it?”
The boy glanced toward Bo Suihan. When it rained, it poured-the direct-drinking water dispenser was broken.
Bo Suihan, furious, had opened the room door to call the front desk and was currently losing his mind outside.
Seeing that there was nothing to worry about, and since Wu Xiaojiu had been brought here together with him, the boy naturally felt a little closer to him. So he also lowered his voice and whispered, “I really didn’t know. I thought he was just some pervert who took pleasure in torturing pretty boys like me. When he dragged you in just now, I was even sweating for you. The Qian Family and Zhao Family owe him favors, and the Qi Family goes without saying. Qi Jiao may not get along with him, but the Qi Family were the ones who shipped this guy back here. The System nodded along as well, expressing its full support for Wu Xiaojiu’s view.

“You’re just a paparazzo. You can’t seriously have gotten together with Bo Suihan, right? Someone like him has to marry for a business alliance. But I think you’re very pleasing to the eye, and we can be good friends, so you won’t tell anyone what I just said, right?”

The boy still couldn’t control his mouth.
Bo Suihan glanced toward the whip, and he instantly behaved.
“I’m really not thirsty, but are we just going to keep staring at him like this? The blood at the corner of his mouth has already dried and formed a huge scab. The corner of his mouth must be itching like crazy right now.”
Unable to talk to the boy, Wu Xiaojiu felt very bored.
Bo Suihan straightened Wu Xiaojiu’s crooked collar, then looked at the boy again.
