It took Lin Sicheng a moment to realize there was a problem. “Wait. You say you can do it, but how am I supposed to know if you really can?”
Brother Dao was almost moved to tears. Fourth Brother had finally grown a brain. It hadn’t been easy!
“Test me. You can test me on anything you want.” Yun Jianyue stared earnestly at Lin Sicheng.
Lin Sicheng turned to Gao Weimin. “How about we test this girl? If she passes, we’ll let her take over Little Dao’s work, and then you can kill Little Dao to get your revenge. What do you think, Brother Weimin?”
Gao Weimin gave a noncommittal nod, casually took out a cigarette, and patted his pockets but couldn’t find a lighter.
Yun Jianyue immediately darted forward, fished a lighter out of Lin Sicheng’s pocket, and obsequiously lit Gao Weimin’s cigarette. “Boss, let me get that for you!”
Lin Sicheng scratched his head, looked down at his pocket, then at the lighter in Yun Jianyue’s hand, utterly baffled.
Wasn’t this little girl sucking up to the wrong person? He was the group’s senior executive!
Seeing how quick Yun Jianyue was on the uptake, Gao Weimin raised an eyebrow in satisfaction. “You’d better be able to do everything and replace him. Otherwise…”
“There is no otherwise! I guarantee I’ll complete the mission! I will unwaveringly uphold the policy of replacing Brother Dao for the next hundred years!” Yun Jianyue thumped her chest and gave him her solemn assurance.
