Yun Jianyue took on thirteen people by herself, and every strike was meant to kill.
In a matter of barely ten minutes, the ground was covered in the security guards’ blood, severed arms and legs, and even two severed heads with their eyes still wide open in death.
The remaining security guards were on the verge of madness.
What the hell kind of female student was this? She was a freaking war goddess! With a chainsaw in her hands, was she invincible or something?
Yun Jianyue’s face was splattered with blood as she said with a sweet smile, “I said I was going to kill every last one of you, so I definitely won’t leave a single survivor. Keeping one’s word is one of humanity’s finest moral virtues, you know.”
What the hell kind of “fine moral virtue” was that? She was a chainsaw-wielding serial killer! What morals could she possibly have!? The security guards were too exhausted to even complain.
One of the guards was clever enough to realize they couldn’t win and immediately turned to run. “Find the captain! The students are rioting!”
Most of their security force worked the day shift. There were only thirteen of them on the night shift. As long as they woke the others, they would have the numbers. Surely they could handle one chainsaw-wielding maniac then?
Yun Jianyue casually hurled a baseball bat at him, striking the fleeing guard squarely in the back of the head.
White brain matter and blood splattered across the ground.
“Woohoo, three-pointer!” Yun Jianyue shouted excitedly, pumping her fist.
Of the thirteen security guards, only four remained.
The four guards staggered backward, trembling as they begged Yun Jianyue with tearful faces, “Don’t kill us! We’ve never beaten a student to death. That was our captain! If you have a grudge, go after our captain…”
Yun Jianyue smiled with extraordinary kindness. “Whether you’ve beaten students to death or not has nothing to do with me. I’m killing you because I want to.”
With a flash of her blade, Yun Jianyue beheaded the four remaining guards, who were already in complete disarray.

The instant the classroom on the third floor of the teaching building lit up, she noticed it.
The next moment, a familiar figure walked out of the classroom.
Si Wuming stood in the corridor wearing a school uniform, gazing at Yun Jianyue from afar.
Yun Jianyue finally revealed the first genuinely heartfelt smile of the day. She raised her aching hand and waved at Si Wuming.
Cai Zeyu and the others soon filed out of the classroom as well. It looked like the Paranormal Bureau had found this Inner World.
Si Wuming keenly noticed that Yun Jianyue’s arm was moving somewhat stiffly. With one hand on the railing, he jumped straight from the third-floor balcony.
“Holy shit, what are you doing!?” Cai Zeyu leaned over the railing in a panic to look at Si Wuming, only to find that Si Wuming had already landed safely and was sprinting into the night at incredible speed.
People in the darkness could easily see someone standing in the light, but those standing in the light had a much harder time spotting anyone in the darkness.
Yet Si Wuming, standing in the light, could see Yun Jianyue in the darkness with perfect accuracy.
When Si Wuming reached Yun Jianyue and saw that she was covered in blood, a trace of murderous fury appeared in his handsome eyes and brows.

Yun Jianyue said, “I’m just a temporary employee.”
“There’s an exam in March. Pass it, and you’ll have an official position!”

After flattering him, Yun Jianyue cheerfully continued, “I’m going to kill every member of the faculty and every security guard here. You two go find the core of the Inner World first.”
“Are you insane? If you die in the Inner World, you’ll really die!” Cai Zeyu cursed.
“My mental state has always been terrible. You know that. I promised Fei Dan that I would kill all the faculty and staff, so I’ll kill all the faculty and staff.” Yun Jianyue still wore that roguish smile, but a serious light shone in her eyes.
Cai Zeyu was on the verge of breaking down. “Everyone in the Inner World is fake! But the injuries you suffer are real! Why risk your life over a promise to a fake person?”
Yun Jianyue tilted her head and thought for a moment before saying, “But what happened here did happen for real at some point in the real world.”
Judging by the school’s teaching equipment, she guessed this place was set sometime between 1995 and 2007.
She had no way to change facts that had already happened in the past. In the real world, she might never even meet Fei Dan.
But since they had met, and since she had made a promise, she had to keep it.
Those beasts deserved to die anyway.
Besides, she wasn’t an idiot. She had a life-preserving talisman, and her Nominal Husband would never stand by and watch her die.
Cai Zeyu said, “I’m the team leader. Yun Jianyue, follow my orders!”
“My direct superior is Si Wuming. Leader, what do you say?” Yun Jianyue turned to Si Wuming.
Looking at the girl’s bright, sparkling eyes, Si Wuming said, “Killing people in the Inner World isn’t against the law. Go ahead.”
