Inside the confinement room.
Yun Jianyue crouched down and gently stroked Fei Dan’s disheveled hair. Her voice was gentler than it had ever been before. “Who did this to you? Tell me.”
The moment Yun Jianyue touched her, Fei Dan’s entire body jerked violently. Her eyes, shot through with red veins, fixed tightly on Yun Jianyue.
Her extreme physical reaction made her forget to breathe. In the end, she actually held her breath until she passed out.
Yun Jianyue lifted Fei Dan into her arms. Fei Dan was nearly five foot seven, yet she was as light as paper. Yun Jianyue barely had to exert any strength to pick her up.
After settling Fei Dan in a corner, Yun Jianyue stripped Zhou Benxin of his school uniform and put it on Fei Dan.
Bare-chested, Zhou Benxin hugged himself awkwardly. “Senior, why did you take mine off?”
Yun Jianyue casually pointed at Song Lu. “It’s fine. I’ll take his off later, too.”

Having witnessed Yun Jianyue take on ten people by herself, Song Lu ultimately chose to remain silent. Besides, everything he said from now on would become evidence in court anyway.
Time passed exceptionally slowly inside the confinement room. Perhaps twenty minutes had gone by, or perhaps two hours. Only then did Fei Dan slowly regain consciousness.
When she woke, she instinctively looked down at her body. Upon discovering that she was wearing a complete school uniform, she let out a relieved breath, grateful to have survived the ordeal.
Yun Jianyue walked over to her again and half-crouched so they were at eye level. Her voice was gentle. “Can you tell me now who did this to you?”
Fei Dan nervously turned her gaze away, too afraid to meet Yun Jianyue’s eyes. Whenever she wasn’t out of control, she never said a word.
“You don’t have to tell me. I can kill every male teacher and security guard in this school.” Yun Jianyue spoke with perfect calm, as though she were saying that she’d eaten two steamed buns for breakfast.
Fei Dan’s whole body trembled. She stared at Yun Jianyue in shock and asked hoarsely, “Really?”
Yun Jianyue nodded. “I promise.”
She stated it in an even tone. “I’ve always believed that whether they’re people trying to survive or ghosts, as long as they aren’t truly evil, they should be given a chance and allowed to face punishment under the law. But some pieces of trash are beyond redemption. They deserve to go to hell.”
Fei Dan stared blankly into Yun Jianyue’s eyes, as if she were looking into a pool of pure, crystal-clear spring water.
The water was warm, yet so deep that its bottom could not be seen.
It could soothe the stiff limbs of someone freezing to death, but it could also drag the ugly and wicked into an abyss from which they would never be reborn.
At that moment, Fei Dan felt as though her withered, barren heart had been irrigated with a ladle of hot spring water.
After a long while, Fei Dan slowly began to speak.
“My mom sent me to this school six months ago. She said it would help me study properly, cure my internet addiction, and keep me from falling in love too young. But I wasn’t addicted to the internet. I studied from seven in the morning until midnight every day, and even slept only five or six hours a night.
“I only played on the computer for a few hours when school was on break. Maybe I was simply born without any talent for studying. I worked that hard, yet I could still only score a little over four hundred on my final exams. My mom said the computer was to blame. She said that if I didn’t have a computer, my grades wouldn’t be so bad.
“But I just liked programming. What was wrong with wanting to teach myself how to code? I thought code was beautiful. With code, I could create so many different worlds. My mom didn’t see it that way. She thought I was letting entertainment ruin my future.
“One time during a break, I went to an internet cafe with a male classmate. He was a programming expert, and I begged him for a long time before he agreed to teach me for two hours. But my mom came to the internet cafe. She called me a slut and said I was ungrateful, that at my age all I knew how to do was date men. She hit me in front of everyone, grabbed me by the hair, and dragged me home.
“The next day, my mom sent me to this school. When she brought me here, Guo Rende and the others were all smiles. They promised they would straighten me out and turn me into the kind of person my mom wanted me to be. After my mom left, Guo Rende told me to go to class. I entered the classroom without asking permission to come in, and Yu Taoli struck me with her pointer. When I tried to dodge, she had the security guards lock me in the confinement room and gave me no food for three days.
“After that, I learned my lesson. I obeyed them. I forced myself to eat those spoiled meals, one after another, despite the nausea, because I was truly terrified of being hungry, and I was terrified of being beaten, too! I thought that as long as I behaved and listened to them, my mom would come take me home. But she didn’t. She never came for me.
“A month later, she came to see me. When she saw how obedient I was to the teachers, she paid the entire remaining two years of tuition in one go and told them to discipline me properly. I cried and knelt down to beg her. I told her that I knew how to be grateful now, that I would never dare do it again. I begged, ‘Mom, please don’t leave me here.’
“But she still left. She left me behind. Because I had cried in front of my mom and begged to leave, I was locked in the confinement room for another seven days. There were even boys locked in here with me. At first, I didn’t dare use the bathroom. I was afraid the boys would see me.
“But they didn’t care in the slightest. Even if I stripped naked, they still wouldn’t have cared. In this school, male students who experience sexual urges get beaten. They were beaten until they were terrified of it, until even seeing a woman elicited no reaction. Just like me, they became lowly, depraved beasts!

Hearing Qiao Yiyi’s words, Fei Dan tugged weakly at the corners of her lips, but she couldn’t even manage the slightest smile.

In the end, Song Lu took off his T-shirt uniform and handed it to Yun Jianyue. He was just about to turn around and crouch in the corner with Zhou Benxin, arms folded over their chests, when Yun Jianyue called him back.
“Pee on the shirt. Soak it completely before you give it to me.”
Song Lu broke down. “Are you a pervert? What are you trying to do?”
Yun Jianyue stared at Song Lu in silence, then gave him a pleasant smile. “Are you going to pee or not?”
Damn it! He was a man, after all! How could he possibly urinate in front of so many girls? Clinging to the principle of saving himself at someone else’s expense, Song Lu pointed at Zhou Benxin. “Why doesn’t he do it?”
“If you can’t produce enough, the two of you can pee together,” Yun Jianyue said impatiently. She herded Song Lu and Zhou Benxin into the corner, then told all the girls to turn around. “We’re not looking at you two. Hurry up and pee!”
Zhou Benxin silently undid his belt. Song Lu’s entire worldview nearly collapsed. “You’re really going to do it?”
“Trust the experience of someone who’s been through this before. Trust your senior, and gain eternal life.” Zhou Benxin began carrying out the task Yun Jianyue had assigned them.

The entire school was pitch-black. The only light came from a room on the top floor of the classroom building.
