Shen Zhuoyang replied with utmost seriousness, “Every word I said is true. Master Quede and the other team members all witnessed what happened that day as well. There’s no mistake-Eight-Eyed Mangui was indeed eliminated by Little Celestial Master Xia.”
“Xia?” Xu Wantang’s hand paused slightly as she flipped through the report. “You’re saying the young girl who subdued that evil creature has the surname Xia?”
Shen Zhuoyang nodded.
Xu Wantang set the report down, her expression turning several degrees more severe as she looked at him. “What is the full name of this Little Celestial Master you mentioned?”
“Xia Sheng.”
“Xia Sheng? Xia Sheng…” Xu Wantang let out a cold laugh. “So that old man really did manage to teach a formidable disciple.”
Noticing that something was off with her expression, Shen Zhuoyang asked, “Director, do you know this Little Celestial Master?”
“She is the disciple of someone I once knew,” Xu Wantang said, her face like frost. “Find a way to invite this Little Celestial Master to the Special Management Bureau. I want to meet her personally.”
