Sun Yang wasn’t someone who was good at arguing. After hearing Old Madam Sun’s tirade, he didn’t know how to respond for a moment.
Old Madam Sun glanced at Xia Sheng, who was standing behind Sun Yang, and asked, “Who is this girl you brought with you?”
Sun Yang replied, “This is Little Celestial Master Xia. I was hit with a Love Gu before, and she was the one who helped me resolve it.”
Old Madam Sun had also heard about what happened to Sun Yang.

Sun Yang wanted to explain, but then he remembered the venomous things Old Madam Sun had said to his second aunt when they first came in, and suddenly felt there was no need to explain at all.
After all, no matter how you looked at it, his grandmother didn’t seem like a kindly person.
Skipping over the subject, Sun Yang said to Xia Sheng, “Little Celestial Master, you should check on my younger cousin first.”

The boy on the bed had regained consciousness at some point.

Xia Sheng walked over to the bedside.

“Since when is it your turn to interrupt when I’m talking?” Old Madam Sun shot Madam Sun a vicious glare, then turned back to Xia Sheng. “Hurry up and make my precious darling normal again, or I won’t let this go!”
Xia Sheng said coldly, “He spoke offensively just now. This is what he deserves.”
Besides, the little beast had even killed someone before. This tiny bit of punishment was already letting him off easy.

She cried out and turned her head, only to see Xuanxuan clamped onto her arm, biting down hard.
