“Nothing much. I just wanted to thank you,” Sun Yang said as he pushed an exquisitely wrapped gift box in front of her. “I specially had someone order this for me. Consider it a thank-you gift.”
Xia Sheng said, “I already received the payment from Qiao Xueman last time. You don’t need to give me an extra gift.”
“I’ve already bought it, so please just accept it.” Sun Yang scratched the back of his head awkwardly before continuing, “Besides, there’s actually something else I want to ask of you today.”
Hearing that, Xia Sheng stopped refusing.
She could tell what was inside the box: a highly spiritual thousand-year lingzhi. There wasn’t much Spiritual Energy on it, but if she ate it, it would still count as a minor tonic.
“What do you want my help with?”
