After a week of chatting on their phones, Qin Song finally couldn’t hold back any longer. He insisted on going to see Huang Yuanrui over the weekend, no matter what.

Huang Yuanrui’s sweet, cloying voice drifted through the phone. “Big Brother, aren’t you busy on the weekends?”

Qin Song replied, “My schedule is very flexible. Quick, think of where you want to go. I’ll go with you.”

“But I’m so lazy… I don’t want to go anywhere… How about you come to my neighborhood? I’m familiar with this area, so I can take you out for hot pot.”

Qin Song thought about it and agreed.

He had already decided that he was going to make their relationship official during this trip, no matter what. He wanted a relationship where they met regularly, not one where he was just raising a digital pet on his phone.

A small fish had suddenly leaped into the calm surface of his life. She might not be the most beautiful one, but she was the one who made him the happiest. Even though they had only been in contact for a week, Qin Song’s heart was already immersed in a high-intensity excitement that he couldn’t quiet down.

It had been many years since he’d felt such a strong attraction to someone. With the vast distance between the north and the south, Qin Song was truly afraid she might slip away.

If she wanted to go out of town, they would stay in a hotel. If she wanted to stay local, he could move straight into her little apartment as the man of the house. Wouldn’t that be even better?

Qin Song had an intuition that if he wanted to stay the night with her, Huang Yuanrui probably wouldn’t refuse.

Qin Song desperately needed a woman who wouldn’t refuse him.

Those four years of being as poor as a dog-and truly acting like a dog for someone else-had left deep psychological scars. He wanted to be approached proactively; he needed a clear sign of affection, a direct expression of love, and a woman who would never say no to him.

After getting her address, Qin Song immediately booked a flight for Saturday.

While eating dinner at home, Qin Song was so excited that he ate in large, rapid gulps, choking twice. He Qian patted his back while fetching a glass of warm water, telling him to slow down.

Qin Song patted the back of He Qian’s hand and asked softly, “Honey, I have to go on a business trip this weekend. Is there anything you want? I can buy a lot of things there that we can’t get here. Clothes? A bag? Or is the house missing anything? Think about it.”

He Qian brushed the hair back from her forehead and asked curiously, “You go on business trips all the time, but you never usually offer to buy things. Where are you going this time? Some big city?”

Qin Song took a sip of water and lowered his head. “No, it’s just that I was busy before and didn’t have time to think about it. I’m not as busy these days, so I thought I’d ask.”

He Qian said, “Oh. I don’t really need anything.”

Qin Song nodded.

After finishing his meal, he opened his phone and a message from Huang Yuanrui popped up. It was a screenshot of a memo.

She had actually written a memo for her and Qin Song’s outing plans!

Filled with text and emojis, Qin Song happily sprawled out on the bed to read it carefully:

Pick-up Plan: Pick up Big Brother from the airport, greeting Big Brother’s arrival in my little city with flowers~

Dining Plan: Take Big Brother to our local best hot pot place~ Big Brother, I hope you can handle spicy food!

Karaoke Plan: It’s been a long time since I’ve sang. I’ll have to trouble Big Brother to accompany me for a few songs and a few drinks.

Hot Spring Plan: Considering Big Brother’s long journey, this little lady has specially arranged a hot spring plan for Big Brother to relax his body and mind.

Shopping Plan: Take Big Brother shopping and taste local snacks.

Following that were plans for sightseeing, taking photos, and even plans for eating dessert and playing claw machines.

Qin Song’s eyes fixed on the “Hot Spring Plan,” and his gaze gradually grew intense. He began to experience the hidden sensuality behind this young girl’s sunny and lively exterior.

Eating, singing, shopping-Qin Song wasn’t interested in any of that. He could no longer stop his mind from vividly imagining this “Hot Spring Plan.”

He searched for local hot springs. Price wasn’t an issue, but he absolutely required a private bath. If he had to go to a public bathhouse to be boiled like a dumpling with a bunch of old men, he’d rather die.
