Huang Yuanrui eyed them warily, planting her feet apart in a stance that made it clear she was not someone to mess with. “What do you want?”

The skinny man was expressionless. He said nothing.

The burly man who looked like Ma Dong-seok smiled and said, “Ma’am, you’re wearing a skirt. When you climbed over the railing just now, you nearly exposed yourself. I only wanted to remind you.”

Huang Yuanrui glared at him. “Do I look like I need you to remind me? Do you have any idea how badly you scared me?”

“Ma Dong-seok” smiled. “My apologies, ma’am.”

Then he fell silent. The two men, one skinny and one burly, continued standing there quietly.

Huang Yuanrui glanced around. There still wasn’t anyone nearby, and all at once she felt extremely nervous.

If these two men suddenly got lustful and tried to pin her against the railing and assault her, she wouldn’t be able to fight back at all.

And if she thought even worse-what if they weren’t after her body, but her money and her life? If she died today on this remote little road, near this side gate of the school that almost no one ever used… it might be days before anyone found her.

She hadn’t brought her wallet or any cash today. The only things on her worth anything were her phone and a few pieces of jewelry.

She looked up at the ancient surveillance camera. Right now, it had become Huang Yuanrui’s only source of security.

At that moment, she desperately hoped the camera was still working, and that someone in the guard room could see the dangerous situation she was in.

Huang Yuanrui stared at “Ma Dong-seok” and said, “Thank you for the reminder. I know now. Can you leave?”

“Ma Dong-seok” said politely, “We’re here on business as well.”

Huang Yuanrui breathed a sigh of relief. “Then can you turn around first, or move a little farther away? I still need to crawl through that gap. With you standing here, don’t tell me you’re still waiting to see up my skirt.”

“Ma Dong-seok” smiled. “My apologies, ma’am.”

With that, the two men took two steps backward in perfect unison, then turned around together.

Huang Yuanrui thought they looked like two sentries on a military training field. She glanced at their backs, lifted her skirt, and hurried through the opening.

Once she had fully gotten onto school grounds, the burly man and the skinny man turned back around in perfect unison.

With a fence between them, Huang Yuanrui felt much safer now. It was just strange that they were still standing there, not leaving.

She opened her mouth and asked, “Hey, where are you going to take care of your business?”

Before she had even finished speaking, the skinny man nimbly slipped through the same gap she had just crawled through.

“Ma Dong-seok” looked at the railing, took two steps back, then ran forward a few paces. With one leap and a push, he actually vaulted straight over the fence!

The moment he landed on the ground, Huang Yuanrui froze completely.

He looked so tall, so heavy-yet he had cleared such a high barrier with one easy jump?!

Huang Yuanrui glanced toward the teaching building in the distance and quickened her pace.

“Ma Dong-seok” and the skinny man followed behind her at an unhurried pace.

Huang Yuanrui was getting angry. “Why are you following me?”

“Ma Dong-seok” smiled. “You’ve misunderstood, ma’am. We just happen to be going the same way.”

Huang Yuanrui let out a cold laugh. “The same way? Do you even know what I’m here for?”

“Ma Dong-seok” smiled. “No, ma’am.”

Huang Yuanrui said, “I’m here to pick up a child after school! What are you here for?”

“Ma Dong-seok” smiled. “We’re also here to pick up a child after school, ma’am.”
