Huang Yuanrui had put a lot of force into that punch, but “Ma Dong-seok” looked as if it had landed on someone else’s back. He didn’t seem to feel it at all.

He asked politely, “Ma’am, is something wrong?”

Huang Yuanrui shouted, “You’re doing this on purpose, damn it! You’ve been blocking me this whole time!”

“Ma Dong-seok” smiled and said, “Ma’am, the children are all walking out in this direction. We’re just following along.”

Huang Yuanrui snapped, “That doesn’t answer my question at all!”

“Ma Dong-seok” stopped talking, turned around, and continued walking forward.

But it was as if the two men had eyes on the backs of their heads. Whichever direction Huang Yuanrui shifted, they shifted with her, keeping her line of sight completely blocked.

Huang Yuanrui simply broke into a run and finally managed to get ahead of the two men. But the purple bow was already almost at the school gate. Once Qiqi left the gate, her family would pick her up.

Originally, Qiqi had walked home by herself after school, since the school was only one street away from Zhang Qiong’s place. But ever since a dead rat had appeared in Qiqi’s schoolbag, Zhang Qiong had made her husband go to the school gate every day to pick Qiqi up.

Huang Yuanrui lengthened her stride and ran forward, trying to intercept Qiqi before she could leave the school.

Unfortunately, she had already fallen too far behind. After she had run only a few dozen meters, the purple bow vanished through the school gate.

She had lost her.

Her entire afternoon had been a complete waste. It was such a short stretch of road, yet Qiqi had somehow gotten away safely!

Huang Yuanrui stood there panting heavily. Furious, she turned back to settle the score with the two men, but they had disappeared completely into the crowd as if they had turned invisible.

The next morning, Huang Yuanrui drove to Zhang Qiong’s residential complex again and parked in a corner.

She locked the car windows and fixed her eyes on Zhang Qiong’s window.

Zhang Qiong still hadn’t replied to her on WeChat. She would start following Zhang Qiong again and see what this woman was really up to.

It was seven in the morning, right around the time Zhang Qiong left for work.

After staking the place out for about eight minutes, she saw Zhang Qiong walk out of the building.

Zhang Qiong was wearing a white suit jacket and a white bodycon skirt. After not seeing her for so many days, Huang Yuanrui found that she actually looked a little plumper, and her complexion was rosy and healthy.

Huang Yuanrui opened the mirror in her car and looked at her own face. Without makeup, she could practically be described as sallow and gaunt.

A happy mood was the best beauty treatment a woman could have. She had gotten countless more collagen and hyaluronic acid injections than Zhang Qiong, yet now it looked as if all of them had been for nothing.

She snapped the mirror shut, started the car, and followed Zhang Qiong’s car.

At first, everything went smoothly. She kept a distance of a few dozen meters the whole time. But after they got onto the elevated road, a black Maybach appeared between her and Zhang Qiong’s car.

When she changed lanes, the black Maybach changed lanes too, blocking her path the entire time.

Huang Yuanrui slammed the horn twice, rolled down the window, and cursed at the top of her lungs, “If you don’t know how to drive, then don’t drive, damn it! Get the hell out of my way!”

The other driver seemed not to hear her at all.

Huang Yuanrui knew that many male drivers were hostile toward women drivers on the road.

The first time she had driven her white Porsche out, a white Toyota had maliciously forced her to stop.

Unfortunately, back then, she had been timid behind the wheel and hadn’t understood even some basic traffic rules. Instinctively, she believed she was the only person on the entire road who didn’t know how to drive.

She hadn’t even realized she had been cut off on the road. She had thought it was because she had hit the brakes too slowly.

Only after driving for a while longer did she understand that the very first time she had gone out on the road, someone had deliberately cut her off.

Hatred surged in her heart. She opened the dashcam footage and found the license plate number of that white Toyota.
