Chapter 200
Chapter 200
We had all underestimated Wang Guofu.
He was a master of divination. Not only had he figured out that four people had come with me, he had even calculated their genders-and that one of us was an Old Man.
He exposed me on the spot, his expression turning downright hostile.
I froze there, struck speechless for a moment.
Du Yunting looked at me as well, his expression carrying a deeper, unreadable meaning.
He smiled at Wang Guofu and said, “Master Wang, this Mr. Chen may have simply come here with a few friends. There’s no need to get so worked up.”
Wang Guofu snorted. On the paper, he drew a circle. Around that circle, he drew four more circles, the four of them surrounding the first.
Then, beside the first circle, he drew another one.
Without a doubt, that circle represented me, while the other four represented Seventh Master and the others.
Wang Guofu knew he was surrounded.
“Do I need to say anything else?” He looked at me, killing intent even surfacing in his eyes.
I knew he didn’t dare touch me. At least, in a place like this, he didn’t dare act recklessly.
“I… brought my dad and my brothers and sisters out for a stroll. Is there a problem with that?” I played dumb with him.
“No problem. I’ll remember you.”
After throwing down that threat, he stood up and said to Du Yunting, “Boss Du, let’s move elsewhere. Someone here doesn’t welcome us.”
Du Yunting rose to his feet and made a phone call.
Before long, three Bodyguards pushed open the door and walked in.
I stood up and looked at them, immediately growing a little nervous too.
Wang Guofu might not dare touch me, but that didn’t mean Du Yunting wouldn’t.
But he didn’t seem to have any intention of making a move. Instead, he patted me on the shoulder and smiled. “Mr. Chen, a man should be a little kinder. Don’t carry so much hostility.”
Damn it!
How did the word “kinder” even come out of his mouth?
Did he deserve to say that?
I glared at him. When he reached the doorway, he looked back and tossed me a familiar smile. “There’ll be plenty of time.”
There’ll be plenty of time… Du Ruhai had once said those words to me too.
I quickly took out my phone and sent Song Xiaotian a text, telling them Du Yunting was here as well.
There was no way we were taking Wang Guofu away today.
If Du Yunting hadn’t been here, then no matter how strong Wang Guofu’s divination skills were, if he was supposed to be caught by us, we still would have caught him.
As soon as I sent the text, I followed them out, trailing them from upstairs to the first floor, then all the way outside the teahouse.
Just as Wang Guofu and Du Yunting stepped out of the teahouse entrance, a girl in a white tracksuit charged over and launched a flying kick at Du Yunting.
Du Yunting’s Bodyguards reacted quickly enough, immediately rushing forward to stop the girl. Even so, her kick still landed on Du Yunting’s chest, sending him stumbling several steps back.
Du Yunting stared at the girl in shock, his expression extremely complicated.
Because that girl was Anning, and she had a face identical to Du Yuwei’s.
Even Du Yunting failed to realize right away that the girl was Anning. I guessed he thought she was Du Yuwei.
“You killed my sister! You killed my sister! You animal! You filthy, worse-than-a-beast animal!”
Anning launched into a furious tirade at Du Yunting.
The Bodyguards were enraged. One of them grabbed Anning and was about to throw her over his shoulder.
Just then, someone else rushed over-it was Song Xiaotian.
Song Xiaotian charged in and slapped that Bodyguards member across the face, then shouted at the people around them, “They’re hitting people! Rich people are hitting people! Rich people are molesting innocent women!”
The surroundings instantly erupted. This place was already lively to begin with, and before long, a large crowd had gathered to watch the commotion.
One of the Bodyguards, who’d been slapped, saw red on the spot and kicked Song Xiaotian flying.
“Holy shit! They’re hitting people!”
“These bastards harassed my sister, and now they’re beating people up! They’re trying to kill me! Oh, ow, ow, help!”
Song Xiaotian wailed and sang his complaints at the same time, instantly drawing condemnation from the onlookers.
“What kind of people are these? You think money makes you better than everyone else?”
“Harassing some girl and then beating people up too!”
“They’re completely lawless!”
“Film him and post it online!”
Seeing this, the Bodyguards were both furious and anxious. They hurriedly tried to explain, “Don’t listen to his nonsense! They started it! They attacked our boss first!”
Anning pointed at Du Yunting and shouted, “He touched my butt first! He said he was going to take me away and take some naked photos of me, and if I didn’t agree, he’d kill me!”
The crowd exploded at once, and everyone started cursing Du Yunting.
Song Xiaotian charged over again and tangled with the Bodyguards. “You bastards have gone too far! I’ll fight you to the death!”
The crowd had only been shouting insults at first, but in an instant, the scene turned chaotic.
When someone saw Song Xiaotian pinned down and beaten by several Bodyguards, they immediately rushed in to help.
Du Yunting’s expression looked as ugly as if he’d swallowed shit. I quickly tried to break things up and told his Bodyguards to stop.
But how could he possibly control the situation now? Someone even started throwing things at him.
Just then, I spotted Seventh Master and Meng Yifan.
The two of them circled straight around behind Wang Guofu and seized him from the left and right.
Wang Guofu’s face changed dramatically, and he was about to cry out for help. But he had no time at all. Seventh Master took out two silver needles, bent down, and inserted them into the central point on the inner side of his knee and another point two inches below it.
Those two acupoints governed the kidney nerves and were also linked to the throat. As long as those two points were sealed with silver needles, a person wouldn’t be able to make a sound.
Wang Guofu’s face was full of terror as Seventh Master and Meng Yifan dragged him away amid the chaos. They’d already taken him quite far off, and Du Yunting was still busy trying to stop the fight.
“Everyone, stop!”
With that furious roar, he finally called the Bodyguards back.
Song Xiaotian climbed up from the ground, cursing under his breath. “Fine, you’re badass. I can’t afford to mess with you, but I can sure as hell avoid you. Goodbye!”
He grabbed Anning and ran.
The Bodyguards were still too angry to let it go and wanted to chase after them.
“Chase, chase, chase-chase my ass!”
Du Yunting was so furious he kicked one of them. “Haven’t you embarrassed me enough already?”
By then, the crowd also began to disperse. I guessed that since the people involved had run off, there was no point in making a scene anymore.
Only then did Du Yunting realize that Wang Guofu had vanished.
His face changed drastically. “Where’s Master Wang? Where did Master Wang go?”
I had been standing where I was the whole time, and I couldn’t help laughing out loud.
Du Yunting looked at me, forcing down his anger. “Where is Master Wang?”
I struggled to hold back my laughter. “Didn’t see him. Didn’t he say someone was out to get him? Maybe he ran off first. Why don’t you call and ask?”
He ignored me after that and hurried off with his Bodyguards to look for Wang Guofu.
I left as well and went to meet up with Song Xiaotian and Anning.
When I found them, Anning’s eyes were still red, and she was trembling nonstop.
Song Xiaotian hadn’t really been hurt. If he hadn’t been trying to let Seventh Master and Meng Yifan take advantage of the chaos to carry Wang Guofu off, those Bodyguards might have ended up in the hospital today.
“Who came up with this idea? That was freaking brilliant,” I said with a sigh.
“Came up with what? Who had time to come up with anything?” Song Xiaotian pointed at Anning and said to me in a low voice, “She knew Du Yunting was here. She ran out on her own just now…”
