“Dragon and Tiger” refers to the twin qi of yin and yang. Harmonizing Dragon and Tiger therefore means harmonizing yin and yang.
“Seizing Kan to Fill Li” is the Daoist practice of reversing yin and yang and returning to one’s original state. It involves extracting the true yang from Kan, which is yin, to fill the true yin within Li, which is yang.
Yin and yang-Dragon and Tiger-are then harmonized to produce precelestial primordial qi and form the Golden Elixir.
The “Golden Elixir” here is not the low-level cultivation stage found in immortal-cultivation novels.
