Author’s Note: This chapter is the author’s postscript and script commentary.
First of all, thank you so much to every reader who has supported this book, and to all the friends around me who’ve been supporting me all this time!
I’ve started recognizing a lot of usernames, and I saw so many corrections and compliments. It genuinely makes me happy to keep improving while having so many readers who love this book -^0^-
And I also saw so many incredibly talented people, including but not limited to those who can draw and those who write fanfiction. Seriously amazing! (Ah Xian would be mortified trying either of those, honestly. At one point I even drew a rabbit that looked like a dog, and that was with a video tutorial. Truly sad.)
After this, I’ll be revising the full text. (It won’t be a major rewrite-just fixing some logic and phrasing issues, plus typos and little mistakes.)
Next is a general overview of all the Scripts. (It’s long! If you mind that, feel free to skip!!!)
About each Script-
Li Kingdom Cold Case was a Script that only managed to keep running after the System cut away almost all of its timelines. It was also the first Script in the Murder Mystery Game System. On top of that, it was where the two protagonists came from, and it was also the origin point for the foreshadowing about the System. So it’s probably the only Script in the System that didn’t really have much plot even during the Script itself. What it means to the System is kind of like this: I originally wanted to make a model, but that model ended up being made with a lot of care, so the original large-scale framework-the world of Li Kingdom-was taken and turned into a tutorial. In the end, the tutorial had problems, and the model itself was more or less complete, so the tutorial got deleted. Something like that.
Dreamweaver’s Troubles was originally inspired by seeing an incident online involving a mentally ill person harming someone. With the Author’s shallow understanding, I couldn’t really understand why, if someone hurts another person during an episode and cannot distinguish their own actions, they don’t have to be dealt with the same way as an ordinary person who commits a crime. In that case, the person who was hurt really does feel a bit too innocent. So I wrote something like this: the Dreamweaver himself is a psychologist suffering from mental illness, and in the end, he also receives punishment. (Although what I wrote may have come out just a tiny bit abstract.)
As for House of True Knowledge Journey, there’s not much to say. It was basically there to serve as an emotional transition for the little couple, and it wasn’t even really a proper Script.
Seven-Day Holiday at Rose Castle was meant to discuss good and evil. For example, Camberny-the King of Rose Castle-uses kindness to do evil things. I also hope all you little angels will stay careful when you’re out and about. There are a lot of people outside who do bad things under the banner of doing good. (For example, traffickers might use asking for help as an excuse to lure you somewhere remote and then kidnap you! w)
Guardian/Destructive Angel’s Game had several purposes. First, it revealed Lolita’s background-a little girl influenced by Zhu Xiangfeng, curious about everything and especially fond of Lolita dresses, who wandered through the System in order to save Zhu Xiangfeng and her siblings. Second, it was about family education: many parents truly cannot bring themselves to say aloud the promises they should make to their children. “Promise” represents protection, while “breaking a promise” represents destruction. The story of Zengzi killing the pig really isn’t something everyone can manage. Third, it was also a breakthrough in the little couple’s relationship.
The meaning of Beware the Ghost Bride is very straightforward: it’s about a place where the status of men and women is extremely unequal, and where there is also the backward, corrupt custom of ghost marriage. I actually happened to come across this while scrolling videos two or three years ago-sewing mouths shut, nailing limbs in place, sealing eyes and ears, putting a living person into a coffin. To be honest, I’m pretty timid, so after watching the first two, I swiped away. (And even for those two, I was peeking through my fingers half the time.) Ever since then, the terrifying custom of ghost marriage has left a very deep impression on me.
Quick, Escape from Senior 3 Class 1 is also very clear. First, it opposes school bullying, and that is reflected in both You Ge and Fan Jiangnan. Second, there’s a more subtle point: I forget where I saw it before, but there was some incident saying art students were somehow more noble than academic students. My immediate reaction was basically: …? So You Ge also carries that meaning-art, like every other kind of learning, has no distinction of high or low, noble or base. Every child studying art is an incomparably dazzling white swan in their own field.
Zombie Crisis → Protecting the environment is everyone’s responsibility, and it also served to introduce Water Moon Mirror and tie up the foreshadowing from the Li Kingdom Script.
To every reader who likes this book, I wish you all the best in life. And I want to once again borrow a line from Mr. Wang Zengqi. (Personally, I think this line is really gentle! I truly love it.) “You must love something, just as plants and trees are devoted to the passing of time.”

Hahahahahahaha I finally finished it, after staying up for hours every day and thinking myself half bald over this and that hahahaha. I already barely read novels these past two years, and once I started writing one, I became even less able to read any novels at all hahahaha. Sure enough, the most effective way to quit reading novels is to start writing novels hahahaha. And not just reading novels either-after I started writing, I don’t even know what else I can do every day besides typing. I don’t even play games anymore hahahahahaha!!!
