“Would tomorrow work?”
I asked earnestly.
The handsome guy on the other end froze for a second.
“Huh?”
Just then, there was a knock on his side, followed by my brother’s voice.
“Old Song, I’m here for my phone!”
The handsome guy opened the door and said to my brother, looking a little dazed, “Your sister called you.”
My brother was confused.
“Lin Xi?”
Then my brother’s giant face appeared in front of me.
When he saw me, he looked pleasantly surprised.

“No.” I told the truth.

“Mom told me to ask if you’re still alive.”

Before hanging up, I told him, “Send me your location.”

Using the location, I bought a plane ticket for that night. Then, after letting my mom know, I went out behind my dad’s back.
At five thirty the next morning, I arrived at the hotel where my brother was temporarily staying.
The handsome guy’s room was easy to find, because at five thirty-three, I was standing right outside his door.
“Who is it?”
“Lin Xi.”

I pointed at the handsome guy.
“I’m here to look at his pecs and abs. Also, it’s already five thirty. It’s not the middle of the night.”

The handsome guy: “…”
My brother glared at the handsome guy through gritted teeth and cursed, “Song Yu! Why the fuck did you have to provoke her?!”
The handsome guy lowered his head and said sincerely, “I’m sorry.”
I said sincerely, “It’s fine. Let me see your pecs and abs.”
My brother and Song Yu: “…”
My brother shrieked, “Song Yu! Are you afraid my dad won’t kill me fast enough?!”
Song Yu said, “Sumimasen, Xuanxuan-chan, watashi didn’t mean to do it.”
I checked the time and reminded them, “My flight back is at six fifty.”
My brother broke down.
“Just fucking show her! Let her look and then hurry up and go home!”
I glanced at the security camera in the hallway.
“Right here?”
Through gritted teeth, my brother dragged both of us into his room and shut the door. Before Song Yu could react, my brother grabbed the hem of Song Yu’s T-shirt and yanked it up. “Look!”
I propped my chin in my hand and began admiring seriously.
To be honest, although I went to the gym often, it was rare to see lean muscle as pretty as Song Yu’s. The contours were distinct, the rises and dips perfectly proportioned, the lines clear. Excellent reference material.
After looking for a while, I asked, “Can I touch?”

My brother slapped him across the back of the head.

Song Yu’s face stiffened.
My brother said, “Hurry up and let her touch!”
I shook my head. “Never mind. He doesn’t want to, and I don’t like forcing people.”

Just then, my phone rang. My brother froze into a statue. I answered-it was the car I’d booked in advance. I confirmed the location with the driver, then waved at my brother and Song Yu. “I’m going back.”
My brother let out a breath of relief, grabbed his phone, and chased after me.
“I’ll see you off.”
I didn’t refuse.
My brother took me to the airport and waited until I’d boarded the plane before leaving.
Before I boarded, my brother reminded me over and over, “Do not let Dad find out about this. At the very least, don’t let Dad know Old Song seduced you. Otherwise Dad will beat me to death!”
