Xie Yi completely ignored the emotional tsunami raging inside me and asked, “Full? Then let’s go.”

I looked up in shock. “Go where?”

“To meet my mom.”

???

Wait, hold on. Were we moving this fast?

We had only gotten together today and we were already meeting the parents. Did that mean tomorrow we could start making babies?

Hehe. Actually, that didn’t sound bad.

Speaking of which, Teacher Xie’s body seemed like…

I stared at Teacher Xie with the most lecherous grin on my face, looking at him like he was a delicious piece of meat.

Then I packed up my bag and got ready to leave with him.

By the time I finished packing, Xie Yi was already waiting for me by the stairs.

I was just about to get up and leave.

Only then did I notice that he had arranged the nugget heart on the table back into place.

He had even placed a nugget shaped very much like a heart inside it.

It looked like two layers of hearts.

That tiny little nugget hit me right in the chest.

I whipped out my phone and immediately started snapping pictures of the heart.

I had to take a few more. Teacher Xie had made this for me.

Who said a heart made of nuggets was tacky? I would be the first to disagree!

After taking the photos, I stuffed the middle nugget and several surrounding ones into my mouth.

This was Teacher Xie’s love. I couldn’t leave it for anyone else.

My cheeks were bulging as I tried to chew and swallow as quickly as possible.

When I looked up, I saw Teacher Xie standing by the stairs, watching me.

He seemed to be in a very good mood, the corners of his lips lifted.

There was even a hint of fondness in the way he looked at me.

His lips parted and closed, his eyes full of laughter.

Xie Yi: Slow down.

After reading the shape of his mouth, my face instantly turned red.

Teacher Xie’s lips were pink. They looked very kissable.

I picked up the Coke on the table and washed the food down.

Then I quickly walked to his side. “Sorry to keep you waiting. Let’s go.”

Xie Yi led me to his car. Inside, there was a faint woody fragrance.

Just like him, cool, refined, and elegant.

I stared at his perfect side profile until I lost focus.

This seemed to be the first time I had ever been this close to him.

Oh, no. There was also the time I secretly took a photo of him and got caught.

I thought for sure he had called me to his office to scold me.

In the office, I stood in front of him.

My phone was held between his slender fingers.

For a moment, I didn’t know whether I should envy my phone or worry about the photos inside it.

I had even already decided how much I would be willing to pay someone else to get another photo.

Don’t ask. The answer is: classic shameless horndog mentality.

But unexpectedly, he didn’t delete the photo.

Instead, he smiled faintly and returned the phone to me.

“You took a pretty good picture. If only you paid that much attention in class.”

I took the phone back and nearly burst into tears.

If, at first, I liked him because of his looks,

then because of that one sentence, I fell completely.

“What are you thinking about?”

Xie Yi’s voice pulled me back from my memories.

When I came back to myself, I saw his face turned toward me, leaning close.

That jawline was truly even more outstanding than my excellent moral character.

My face heated. “No-nothing.”

Xie Yi’s voice continued, magnetic and pleasant. “Are you afraid of me?”

“No.”

How could I possibly be afraid of him? Mainly, I was afraid of myself.

Afraid I wouldn’t be able to control myself.

Xie Yi suddenly leaned even closer. The crisp, cold scent on him, like mountain spring water, surrounded me all at once.

His arms reached around my shoulders.

His clear, gentle voice sounded beside my ear. “Don’t be afraid of me. It’s not like I’m going to eat you.”

Then, with a click, my seat belt was buckled.

After fastening my seat belt for me, Xie Yi drew back.

There wasn’t a single inappropriate move.

Then he started the car.

While driving, he secretly glanced at me several times.

But I stared straight ahead, stiff as a statue.

Because I still hadn’t recovered.

Did Xie Yi just hug me?

Ahhhhh!!!

I curled up in my seat, quiet as a little quail.

Inside, however, I was tangled up in all kinds of thoughts.

So, for my wedding with Xie Yi, should we go with a Chinese ceremony or a Western one?
