Chapter 7

I don’t know a damn thing.

No matter how much mental preparation I do.

As soon as Zhuang Jinyu loses his mind and his eyes go red, I immediately lose my bearings. I’d practically carve my heart out just to give it to the Young Master to play with.

When he finally regained his senses, he found himself pinned beneath me, and my tongue was swollen from how hard he’d kissed me.

Zhuang Jinyu’s tone was dark. “Xie Huo, what did you promise me?”

Before I could even catch my breath, I immediately launched into a practiced self-reflection:

“I’m sorry, I know I was wrong. Next time for sure.”

Zhuang Jinyu grabbed a tissue and wiped the moisture from the corner of my lips, lecturing me with annoyance:

“It’s always ‘next time for sure,’ but you never actually do it. Tell me the truth-are you taking advantage of the situation to get a free ride off me?”

I’m so misunderstood!

Even if he gave me ten times the courage, I wouldn’t dare do such a thing.

“I just… I really can’t reject you. Whenever you’re sad, I start to panic.”

I widened my eyes at him, trying to make him believe I wasn’t lying.

Zhuang Jinyu’s hand trembled as he held the tissue, and he awkwardly averted his gaze.

“Fine, fine, I get it… Don’t look at me like that. I believe you, okay?!”

What was that about? Why did he suddenly get so prickly again?

Was my gaze not sincere enough?

I simply assumed the Young Master was dissatisfied with my repeated failure, and I mentally warned myself to try harder next time.

Even if I couldn’t successfully reject him, I should at least hold out for a few more seconds before giving in!

While I was busy pumping myself up, Zhuang Jinyu, who had retreated to a distance, suddenly turned his head to look at me.

The Young Master was frowning, his expression a tangled mess of conflict, his handsome face twisted into a knot.

“Also,” his voice was a bit quiet, and the tips of his ears were turning red, “you’re not allowed to say things like that anymore… and you’re definitely not allowed to say them to anyone else!”

Zhuang Jinyu finally discovered that his doll body was missing a few parts.

The timing of the discovery was quite subtle.

Under his resistance training, his forcibly suppressed instincts had become increasingly frantic. Every time they broke free, his cravings grew more intense.

During one session, while he was hugging, kissing, and rubbing against me, he asked breathlessly if I could lend him my “leg.”

I gave him a hesitant, lingering look.

The delirious Young Master was instantly heartbroken. “What do you mean? You’re not willing to help me? Do you not like me anymore? Do you have the heart to see me suffer like this?”

That you aren’t actually suffering?

Zhuang Jinyu followed my gaze downward. After a long silence, he finally realized where the problem lay.

The Young Master stared at the empty air in disbelief. In the next second, he was practically shocked back to his senses.

His reason returned, but he didn’t lift his head. He remained in that position-disheveled and clinging to me-staring at his missing parts for a long time.

“Xie Huo,” his voice was ethereal, possessing a certain beauty of one who had transcended all worldly desires, “what were you thinking when you made this doll?”

“Did I misunderstand you? Maybe you don’t lust after my body, but actually hate me, so you made a little effigy to curse me?”

I covered my face in guilt. “I’m sorry, but at the time, I really couldn’t imagine… how to make that part.”

Zhuang Jinyu had a face that could make someone peak just by looking at it, but when it came to *that* area, it felt like anything I did would be a desecration.

So, I decided to just leave it out entirely… effectively giving the doll one less “leg.”

“What do you mean you couldn’t imagine it? What kind of excuse is that?” The Young Master was so angry he lost his filter. “Are you blaming me for not letting you see it beforehand? Do you want to play with it for a few days to get a feel for it?”

That’s an option?

I wasn’t quite sure. “Wouldn’t that be too offensive to you?”

The Young Master stopped talking.

He stared at me for a long while, then suddenly shut his eyes tight, his lips moving as he muttered something under his breath.

Worried he was having another mental breakdown, I quickly leaned in to listen.

I discovered he was chanting:

“Don’t get angry… if you get sick from anger, no one can take your place…”

What a Young Master who really knows how to manage his emotions.
