I decided to head to the funeral home first.

That afternoon, I packed my things and told Jiang Ning that I was going on a long trip.

I sat there reading through the messages one by one, explaining to her as I went, “The killer has already been identified. He won’t dare to make a move anytime soon.”

Jiang Ning’s eyes widened. “Really?”

“Yes…” I replied.

Suddenly, I noticed one person among those sending her private messages who was being particularly aggressive.

Their ID was Shanshan.

I pulled my laptop out of my suitcase and began tracing this person’s location.

Jiang Ning was a bit flustered. “What’s happening?”

I kept my eyes fixed on the screen. “This person is different from the others. He knows the killer has a specific preference for a certain type of victim…”

Just as I finished speaking, the IP trace was complete.

Sure enough, it was Chasing Light.

I furrowed my brow.

“It’s fine. This person has been identified too.”

I figured it was because Jiang Ning had commented on a trending video. Since she was very beautiful, she had caught the eye of a pervert.
