Our class just so happened to have it at the same time as Chen Yi’s class.

I finally got to meet the famous Xiao Xiao.

She wore an affected smile and greeted everyone in a sugary, pinched voice.

It turned out her full name was Xiao Xiao.

She seemed to have quite a problem with me. While we were running, she kept looking back and shooting me vicious glares.

Sure enough, after we were dismissed, she bought water for the students in both classes.

“Cute little Xiao Xiao is treating everyone to drinks.”

When she finished handing them out, I was the only one who didn’t get one.

Chen Yi noticed I didn’t have one. He lifted his chin and walked over, holding out the Coke in his hand.

“Here. You can drink mine?”

I didn’t take it. “Mom won’t drink it. Xiao Yi can drink it.”

“Xu Jin, stop throwing a tantrum. Xiao Xiao was nice enough to buy everyone drinks. She just transferred here, so it’s normal that she didn’t know how many people were in the classes.”

I snatched the Coke out of his hand, shook it hard twice, then swiftly twisted off the cap and aimed it at him.

“%￥&*…*# Xu Jin, you’ve gone too far!”

Just then, Xiao Xiao, who had finished giving out the drinks, came up to me too and blinked theatrically.

“Sorry, Xu Jin. Xiao Xiao accidentally bought one bottle too few, so there isn’t one for you.”

“You won’t be mad, right?”

Why did she always refer to herself by her own name? What was wrong with her?

Then she picked up her own unopened bottle of mango juice.

“But…”

“It’s fine. You can just go buy me another bottle.”

She had already said it was an accident. I wasn’t petty enough to hold it against her.

“Wh… what?” Xiao Xiao’s smile froze, and her voice stopped sounding fake-sweet.

I patiently repeated myself.

“Oh, right. Do you know what I like to drink? Forget it, I’ll go with you.”

Afraid she would buy the wrong thing, I grabbed her and headed for the convenience store.

Today, someone was rarely treating, so without hesitation, I took the most expensive drink.

Xiao Xiao stared at me the whole time, her gaze cold and carrying a hint of scrutiny.

She had smiled so brightly in front of everyone just now, yet when she faced me, she wore a dead expression.

“What are you looking at? Pay up.”

Xiao Xiao rolled her eyes so hard they nearly reached the sky, but she still gritted her teeth and took out her phone to pay.

As we left the convenience store, that weightless feeling came over my body again, and my consciousness gradually blurred.

It was worse than any time before.

“You’re allergic to mangoes. Don’t drink mango juice anymore.”

I didn’t remember how I got back to the classroom. I only saw two bottles of drinks neatly placed on my desk.

The mango juice had been half-drunk.

I was shocked. “Who dared steal my drink?!”
