I was certain the killer was still in the apartment, but I had no idea exactly where he was-or how much of me he could see.

So this was the only way I could pass along information safely.

After saying that, I pushed him out and shut the door.

Then I sat back down on the sofa and waited, hoping he would understand what I meant.

But after a long while, I suddenly realized that the killer’s presence still hadn’t returned.

Where was he?

Was he no longer watching me?

Just as doubt crept in, my phone received a WeChat message.

It was from Brother Lin.

“Xiaotao, do you really think I’ll help you?”

The killer stood to the side, his mouth split in a grin, like an evil ghost.

But I couldn’t be like this.

Because the killer’s breathing had also become heavier and duller.

He was going to see through me. It felt like he could strike at any moment.

I sat up straight and picked up a pear.

With my other hand, I picked up the fruit knife…

I was a blind girl. Even if I had a gun, it would be hard for me to fight the killer in front of me.
