The next day after school, I got cornered in the bathroom.

The person blocking my way was a girl I didn’t know.

I gave her outfit a quick once-over: a Miu Miu rhinestone hair clip, a little Hermès backpack, and Prada kitten-heel leather shoes.

Great. A Celestial Dragon in the flesh.

Definitely not someone a sewer rat like me could afford to mess with.
