Chapter 7
Jiang Heng stared at the divorce summons on his desk.
He couldn’t understand it.
All he had done was help an employee.
How had it come to divorce?
Song Qingyao had never been like this before.
He had driven Lin Mo home before.
He had changed a light bulb in her living room.
Back then, Song Qingyao had even said he treated his employees well.
Why was everything different when it came to Xia Qiu?
He thought it over and could find only one explanation.
Song Qingyao was jealous because Xia Qiu was younger.
After all, Lin Mo was about Song Qingyao’s age.
But he had forgotten that he drove Lin Mo home
because she’d been drinking at a company gathering.
He changed her light bulb because she had just moved that day.
We had gone over to celebrate her new home.
Lin Mo had always known where to draw the line.
Whenever she needed help, she never went to Jiang Heng alone.
She had her own circle, her own friends.
She knew how to keep her distance from a married man.
But Xia Qiu knew perfectly well that Jiang Heng had a family,
yet she called him in the middle of the night.
Jiang Heng used another phone to call me.
“Yaoyao, can we talk?” His voice was hoarse.
“About what?”
“Xia Qiu and I…”
“Jiang Heng, I don’t want to know what your relationship with Xia Qiu is. I couldn’t care less.”
“If you won’t agree to a divorce, I don’t mind taking it to court.”
“Do we really have to go that far?”
“After ten years together…”
“Can you swear you’ve never had the slightest feeling for Xia Qiu?”
Jiang Heng hesitated.
“Jiang Heng,” I said, “I can see a loyalty score above everyone’s head.”
“Your loyalty to me used to stay at one hundred percent.”
“But now…”
“There’s only 60% left.”
“So, Jiang Heng, you’re the one who betrayed this relationship first.”
He fell silent.
Xia Qiu was fired.
Lin Mo was the one who fired her.
Apparently, before leaving, she went to Jiang Heng and cried for a while.
He wanted to put in a word for her.
Before he could speak, Lin Mo said,
“If you still want to win your wife back, don’t defend her.”
Jiang Heng shut his mouth at once.
After Xia Qiu’s dismissal,
he came to Wen City again.
Qiao Wan, Xiaoxiao, and I were just getting ready to go out.
We had barely stepped outside the complex when Jiang Heng called to me.
“Yaoyao.”
Xiaoxiao turned, saw him, and ran toward him with a smile.
“Daddy!”
Jiang Heng swept her into his arms.
“Did you miss Daddy, Xiaoxiao?”
“Yes!”
Our three-year-old daughter still knew nothing.
She didn’t know that her parents’ relationship had reached its end.
She didn’t know they were about to divorce.
Jiang Heng looked at me. “Yaoyao, I’ve fired Xia Qiu.”
“I’ll never have anything to do with her again.”
“Lin Mo fired her, not you,” I interrupted.
“Jiang Heng, don’t take the credit. You couldn’t bear to do it.”
Embarrassment showed in his eyes.
“Whatever the case, she’s been fired. Could you give me another chance?”
“I’ve really missed you these past few days.”
He said he missed me.
But the number above his head remained at 63%.
A man’s sweet words really were nothing but lies.

All I Want Is 100% Loyalty
I could see a loyalty score above everyone’s head.
Once it fell below 60%, they would leave.
The day my father cheated, his score dropped from 69% to 23%.
The day my...
