Chapter 1
Chapter 1
[Girls, look.]
[A gorgeous guy has appeared downstairs outside our dorm today!]
I dropped a photo into the dorm group chat.
A tall, straight figure leaned against a tree.
A black T-shirt was casually tucked into cargo pants.
The waist was just right.
My gaze drifted lower.
His legs were long and strong.
Then upward.
Broad shoulders. A narrow waist.
The boy had his head slightly lowered, looking at his phone in profile.
The summer heat made people restless and irritable.
But even standing in the shade, he seemed wrapped in a cool, distant air.
[Whoa, whoa, whoa. Our school actually has someone this handsome?]
[Wen Liao, didn’t you run into some top-tier college guy at the library too? Which one is hotter compared to this guy?]
[What a coincidence. Same guy.]
Over the past few days,
I had kept ending up seated across from the same boy.
He had a high nose bridge, with heavy brow bones set over a pair of indifferent eyes.
A sharp jawline.
Thin lips pressed together without the slightest trace of a smile.
He really was an absurdly handsome, cold-faced type.
[Too bad. Waiting downstairs at the girls’ dorm at this hour? He’s definitely waiting for his girlfriend.]
[Yeah.]
I sighed.
That little flicker of romantic interest that had just risen in me quietly fell away.
Song Fuling, who had been silent the whole time, suddenly popped up.
[What are you guys talking about?
[Holy shit!
[You’re actually talking about Pei Dog Pei Yanci!]
Right after that came a long voice message:
“You’re overthinking it.
“That bastard may look all proper and polished, but his temper is foul as hell.
“Other than a face that’s barely worth looking at, he’s nothing but flaws from head to toe.
“What good girl would want to date him?
“I guarantee he’s single.
“He’s waiting for his dad-me!”
Before I had time to press for details,
I ran straight into Song Fuling at the turn by the stairs.
She was skipping downstairs.
She had on an oversized black T-shirt.
The collar hung loose, and the sleeves swayed around.
The moment she raised an arm, the fabric slipped below her shoulder, exposing a wide swath of pale skin.
I instinctively warned her,
“Fuling, be careful. Don’t have a wardrobe malfunction.”
She glanced down.
Utterly unconcerned, she patted her chest, only dragging the collar even lower.
“Oh, please. I’m not like you dainty girls.
“I’ve always been rough and carefree. Since when do I care about that crap?”
After saying that,
she leaned in a step closer and jerked her chin toward the dorm entrance.
“Wen Liao, did studying turn your brain to mush?
“You actually snuck a photo of my good son.
“Don’t tell me you’ve fallen for him?”

The Heart Swap Game
My roommate insisted on teaching me how to chase her childhood sweetheart.
Then she turned around and made a post asking for help:
[My good son said he wants to date, so as his dad, I...
