Chapter 7

The Female Ghost behind her hurriedly shouted, “Sister Ju, the supermarket has rules and restrictions! You can’t kill people!”

Sister Ju let out a cold laugh and tossed the player onto the floor.

“Is that so?”

“Then I’ll just lift the restrictions.”

She looked down at the group of players with disdain.

“Do you dare to play a game with me?”

Brother Liu’s face turned pale instantly.

He knew this was a mechanic of the BOSS before them.

The moment she uttered the words “Do you dare to play a game with me?”, all players were already considered part of the gamble.

If they won, they could live.

If they lost, their blood would be splattered on the spot.

But so far, no one had ever made it out of her games alive.

“We’ll compare totals.”

“If the players win, we leave the supermarket and let you go.”

“If I win… the rules and restrictions disappear.”

Sister Ju smiled and extended a finger, pointing at their heads one by one.

“When that happens, don’t even think about running away.”

Sister Ju looked at me, her voice softening. “Boss Chen, could you please prepare the dice cups for us?”

I nodded and quickly brought out two dice cups.

Brother Liu immediately urged his fellow players, “Quick! Take out every single item that increases luck! Pile them all on me!”

“Hurry! Faster!”

Brother Liu was soon buffed by dozens of luck-enhancing items.

Sister Ju rested her chin on her hand. “You choose a cup first.”

Brother Liu looked at the two dice cups in my hands.

I gave him a subtle look, gesturing for him to pick the one in my left hand.

He gave a cold snort. “Still trying to screw me over? No way!”

He snatched the dice cup from my right hand.

Under the watchful eyes of the other players, Brother Liu shook the dice cup, slammed it onto the table, and slowly opened it.

“…”

“Three sixes!”

“It’s three sixes! I won!”

Brother Liu let out a shout, so emotional that tears actually began to fall.

The players hugged each other, celebrating their narrow escape from death.

Sister Ju, however, remained unhurried. “Don’t be in such a rush. I haven’t opened mine yet.”

She gave her cup two shakes and opened it.

In an instant, the players’ cheers came to a grinding halt.

“…Four sixes?”
