Meanwhile, a group of BOSSes gathered in the empty supermarket, looking at each other in bewilderment.
“…Where is Boss Chen?”
“Boss Chen is always on time for work. Even if he doesn’t open the shop on restocking days, he always lets us know in advance.”
“He hasn’t been to work for two days now. Something is definitely wrong!”
“Could it be that more players have come to harass Boss Chen?”
One of the SSS-rank BOSSes knelt on the ground, wailing like a banshee. “Sister Ju told me to bring the blind box back today! What am I supposed to do now?”
Suddenly, he pulled a card from his pocket.
“Right! Sister Ju gave me this!”
The Siren leaned in while chewing on the last bag of Spicy Little Man Jerky. “A tracking card? Quick, see where Boss Chen is!”
A moment later, everyone’s expressions turned grim.
“How is he still in the original world?”
“He must have run into trouble!”
Crow shrieked, flapping its wings and shedding eyeballs all over the floor.
“How do we get over there?”
The Female Ghost narrowed her eyes. “Wasn’t it said that world was going to be claimed as a new Dungeon? What if…”
“What if we apply for an early descent?”
“I think that works.”
“Let’s do it!”
A few minutes later, every Dungeon in the game shut down simultaneously, leaving only Sister Ju’s Dungeon active.
The players were thrown into a panic.
“What’s going on?”
“Is the game forcing us into a Certain Death Instance?”
“How is this any different from suicide!”
However, in the next second, even the last Dungeon shut down.
The players fell into utter despair.
“They really just want to wipe us all out!!”
