Chapter 11
Chapter 11
I caught a glimpse of the sky’s transformation through the reflection in the window.
The sun in the sky…
It had turned into a clock, identical to the one on the supermarket wall.
A familiar, mechanical female voice rang out:
“Ding-dong! Three-day countdown to the arrival of the Weird.”
“In three days, this world will be incorporated as a new Dungeon by the Game Company.”
“Players ranked outside the top ten thousand on the Bonus Ranking will be purged at that time!”
Something utterly inconceivable had just happened.
The other two looked at each other, seeing nothing but terror and despair on each other’s faces.
They had experienced the horrors of the game firsthand.
Everything before them told them that this was all real.
In three days, the Weird would truly descend upon the entire world.
If they couldn’t make it into the top ten thousand of the Bonus Ranking, they would be eliminated.
The two of them bolted out the door, desperate to get home and grind Dungeons for rewards.
I immediately rushed to my mother’s bedside, only to find to my surprise that her vital signs were stabilizing.
This sudden upheaval threw the entire world into a state of madness.
The hospital was no longer safe.
I brought my mother home and settled her into her familiar bed.
I looked up at the wall covered in figurines and whispered, “Mom, all your favorite things are right here with you.”
As I spoke, I placed the latest blind box on the nightstand.
Mom had always had a habit of collecting figurines.
Before I was born, every time Dad got paid, the first thing he would do was buy her the latest figurine as a gift.
But after I was born, she stopped collecting them to ensure I had a better life.
I thought to myself that if she woke up, she would definitely have a lot to talk about with Sister Ju.
I drew the curtains and locked the door.
Many people outside had already gone insane.
Everyone understood one thing-killing people within the game was too slow, as only a few hundred people could enter a Dungeon at a time.
And so, they turned their sights toward reality.
For every person they killed, there was one less competitor to worry about.

I Run a Supermarket in a Horror Game
On my third day working as an NPC cashier in a Horror Game, the supermarket was ransacked by players.
They stormed in, smashing and looting everything in sight while gloating...
