Mom?

Mother?

The instance has opened many times, once someone tried to seduce me with good looks and ended up dead under my nails.

This is the first time someone has opened their mouth to become a monster’s mother.

Is she even worthy?

I smirked disdainfully, and with a flick of my sleeve, this strange woman was sent flying.

She crashed into a table and chairs, was helped up by her companions, but spat out a mouthful of blood.

Inside, the eerie guqin music blended with the wind chimes, a beautiful melody, but it was ruined by chaotic screams.

I watched them scurry in panic, frantically pounding on the doors and windows.

My gaze randomly picked the next unlucky one.

But I didn’t mind scaring them further, so as I raised my hand, various objects in the room floated up and, under their terrified gazes, hurtled toward them.

Screams and groans erupted together.

Some were hit.

“Do you guys have any solution or not?” someone shouted from the crowd. “Stop holding out-if this goes on, we’ll all be done for by her here!”

“All of you get lost!”

That guy called Wang Wei suddenly yelled. From somewhere, he pulled out a doll weeping tears of blood, its expression eerie and smiling.

The doll’s aura was disgusting, but it felt like it came from the same source as me.

Upon seeing it, someone exclaimed, “A Forbidden Doll!”

I didn’t know how to use this doll, but through the red veil, I saw its blood-streaming eyes. My head suddenly felt dizzy, as if something was squirming in my brain.

A very disgusting feeling.

But a bit interesting.

I didn’t move, wanting to see its next move.

After a moment, I felt a mysterious force invisibly binding me, my head growing muddled, something devouring my power.

The doll’s smile widened.

So that’s it.

I slowly raised my hand, my deep red nails still stained with a bit of blood-I didn’t know whose.

The doll’s expression seemed to freeze.

Just as I was about to act, a long whip lashed out fiercely, knocking the Forbidden Doll from Wang Wei’s hand to the ground.

“Yang Xi, what’s wrong with you?”

“Have you lost your mind?”

“Sister Xi, what happened?”

“…”

The players turned on each other.

A figure suddenly stood in front of me, back facing me.

“Yang Xi, we’ve never crossed paths. We invited you to join our team, you refused, and we didn’t bother you after that. What is this?” Wang Wei roared at her.

“Sister Xi, what are you doing there? She’ll kill you! Come over here, quick!”

“Sister Xi, come over!”

Even her own companions couldn’t understand, and neither could I figure out what this woman was doing.

Her soul’s color was beautiful, a vivid red.

I could save her for last.

The woman called Yang Xi offered no explanation. She suddenly took out some prop, and I felt a barrier rise around us, trapping her and me inside.

She said calmly, “You all escape.”

“Yang Xi, you’re insane!”

After saying that, Wang Wei and the others began searching for a way out. With a bang, one of them suddenly mutated his arm and smashed the door.

They all fled, except for this woman’s companions.

“Sister Xi!”

Yang Xi shook her head at them. The Glasses Guy among them even tried to rush forward but was stopped by a single look.

After a moment, the few of them could only leave.

The chaotic wedding hall was now just her and me.

She turned around, tears still wet on her face, and said to me, “Yueyue, do you still remember Mom?”
