Jiang Wei woke up late the next day.

She sat up in bed, her eyes unfocused as she stared blankly for a while.

I floated beside her, not daring to breathe too loudly, watching her with cautious intensity.

Normally, my daughter shouldn’t be able to see me.

After a moment, a smile suddenly tugged at the corners of Jiang Wei’s lips. “How strange. I haven’t had such a peaceful sleep in a long time…”

My heart pounded with dread as I read the comments. Taking advantage of the fact that Jiang Wei was still in the bathroom, I hurriedly hid the clothes away.
