By the time I followed her scent and found my daughter, this was the scene that met my eyes.

Fury flared within me, and I was about to charge forward when several lines of scrolling text-bullet comments-suddenly appeared before me.

“I knew it, I love the brother Jiang Ling the most. That possessive pseudo-incest vibe is everything.”

“Then I’m still rooting for Xie Xuan. That kind of tsundere, gloomy guy is so tasty… Look at the female lead being pinned down by her brother; he’s already silently getting off on it.”

I suddenly calmed down.

According to the comments, the families of these animals in human clothing were wealthy and powerful.

A momentary intervention wouldn’t achieve anything.

In the time it took me to think, Jiang Ling had already gotten up from on top of Jiang Wei.

A bright red handprint marked his face, and his lip was bleeding.

Jiang Wei glared at him, her eyes filled with blatant hatred and disgust.

The comments began to boil over again.

“I love forced romance.”

“The female lead doesn’t even know that slap just turned him on.”

“Weiwei, why are you rewarding him?”

Jiang Ling stood where he was, looking down at Jiang Wei from a height.

Jiang Wei panted heavily, grabbed her backpack, and headed upstairs without looking back.

Downstairs, the group of boys burst into laughter at her retreating figure.

I was smiling, too.

Fearless and arrogant, are they? I wonder if they’re afraid of ghosts.
