When we left the café, Li Shuyu offered to see me home.

I waved him off.

He didn’t insist.

“Miss Jiang, then I’ll see you next time.”

Still dazed, I nodded.

I watched him turn and leave.

Even after I got home, I still couldn’t figure out how I had somehow agreed to give things a try with him.

Qiao Xiang video-called me immediately.

I put on a serious face.

She went even crazier.
