Chapter 3
Chapter 3
I wrapped the handcuffs with strips of cloth and set the rough hemp rope to boil in a pot.
The message I’d sent Pei Shaoye – “Come find me” – still had no reply.
They’d already moved downstairs to the gaming room.
I sent two more messages. Pei Shaoye blocked me outright.
I sighed, opened my laptop, and began coding.
By the time the hemp rope had boiled soft and strong, my code was finished too.
Two minutes later, the door was hammered with heavy knocks.
I unhurriedly opened it. Pei Shaoye stormed in, face a mask of fury.
“How do you have pictures of us kissing?”
“Isn’t it obvious? I pulled them from the bar’s surveillance that night.”
Pei Shaoye raked a hand through his hair, visibly irritated but trying hard not to show it too much.
“I came upstairs. You can stop that program now.”
I’d just infected the computer Pei Shaoye used most with a virus.
While his friends were slaying enemies in the game, his screen would suddenly freeze.
Our kissing photo would appear right in the centre.
Below it, a small line of text: “Come upstairs within two minutes, or this same content will display on every single computer.”
I smiled, tracing the lines of Pei Shaoye’s brows and eyes with my gaze.
“That scared of your friends finding out? Think kissing me is something to be ashamed of? Afraid they’ll laugh at you? Or is it because you hate me?”
Cornered, Pei Shaoye didn’t dare say anything rash.
“Neither.”
I touched his Adam’s apple.
“Then you’re scared Song Zhiyi will find out?”
Pei Shaoye swallowed, hands bracing on the desk behind me.
He lowered his head. “So you’re jealous?”
His breath brushed my lips.
The two-minute countdown ticked away in the background.
I pressed my lips together and reached back to switch off the program.
“Yeah. Even if it’s just a tool for relieving stress, I don’t like the thought of anyone else touching it.”
Click.
The handcuffs snapped around Pei Shaoye’s wrist.
“I’m just a tool for stress relief?”
I didn’t answer, just bent down and fastened the cuffs to the back of the chair.
“Let me go!”
Pei Shaoye was starting to panic.
“What are you trying to do? I’m telling you, I absolutely won’t… mmph…”
Pei Shaoye’s lips were beautifully shaped, but the words that came out of them were anything but pleasant.
Better to just silence them directly.
My knowledge of kissing was purely theoretical, but the practice subject turned out to be exceptionally cooperative.
Pei Shaoye struggled a moment, then stopped resisting.
He even started responding, almost instinctively.
His fine lashes trembled softly.
Pei Shaoye’s skin was flawless. A faint flush spread over that exquisite bone structure, making him look like a work of art shaped by a master.
Our breaths intertwined. The hem of his T-shirt was rumpled.
A strip of exposed abdominal muscles was pulled taut.
I lowered my eyes towards someone’s black trousers.
“Shi Miao, don’t look!”
“Want me to… help you out?”
“You wouldn’t dare!”
Pei Shaoye’s face burned bright red. “If you lay a hand on me, you’re dead. Don’t look… and don’t touch…!”
I didn’t just look, I touched.
Pei Shaoye’s panting was damp and intoxicating, breathed hot against the ear with maddening allure.
“See clearly-first kiss was from me. And the first time anyone made you feel this good, that was me too.”
“It really is your first time, huh? That sensitive.”
Pei Shaoye’s breath alone was enough to tease anyone senseless.
“In psychology, there’s something called the Anchoring Effect. A person’s specific emotion can become linked to a particular external stimulus. Pei Shaoye, next time you take care of yourself… you’ll think of me.”
Pei Shaoye’s pale skin was chafed red by the cuffs.
The chains rattled endlessly.
“How’d I do? Young Master Pei?”
I’d never called him that before.
But sometimes, words that intensify that sense of the lower offending the higher carry their own special flavour.
“What the fuck kind of book is this? Is this how my dad told you to teach me?”
“‘Forcing the Reckless Man: A High Heat NSFW Novel’.”
I leaned down and kissed his throat again.
“Forgot to tell you-top students don’t just study well; their practical skills are even better.”
“Don’t… don’t kiss there…”
…
“Brother Pei, you’ve been gone forever, we’ve started like ten games already.”
Suddenly, there came a knock on the door of the next room.
Pei Shaoye went rigid instantly.
Startled, my hand involuntarily clenched.
“Mngh…!!”
The person outside froze.
“What’s that noise? From next door? Sounded like Brother Pei.”
“Wait, isn’t that Shi Miao’s room? Why would Brother Pei be in there? Never mind, let’s go check.”
Panic seized Pei Shaoye all at once.
