Jiang Tingxue and I went way back.

Our grudge began a hundred years ago.

I was the reigning Demon Sovereign, and also a succubus who had taken an absurdly long time to reach maturity.

Young succubi tended to have formidable cultivation and embarrassingly fragile bodies. The elders therefore wanted me to keep my head down and grow stronger in secret.

Unfortunately, a hundred years ago, I entered my rebellious phase.

Me! The Demon Sovereign! The most powerful woman in all Three Realms!

Why should I live like a rat, moldering in some sunless corner?

After a great deal of careful planning, I ran away from home.

According to the ancient texts, feeding in moderation could accelerate a succubus’s growth. The finest nourishment of all was a sword cultivator with a pure-yang constitution.

So I slipped into the Immortal Realm and searched for ages until I found the perfect candidate.

Sword Venerable Jiang Tingxue was a once-in-a-thousand-years sword prodigy. His cultivation was extraordinarily high, and his primordial yang remained intact.

In other words: extremely nourishing.

More importantly, Jiang Tingxue was the most beautiful man I had ever seen. One cool, clear glance from him was enough to make my mouth water.

I cornered him while he was out on a mission and confessed my desire with complete sincerity.

“I want your body. Come back to the Demon Realm and be my kept man. Name your price – how much will it take to buy you outright?”

Jiang Tingxue said nothing.

What followed was an exceptionally vigorous bout of physical activity.

By the time my people rushed over and rescued me from beneath Jiang Tingxue’s sword, he had beaten me half to death. Even my tail had popped out.

He drifted away afterward without so much as a speck of dust on his robes.

I was dragged home bruised and swollen and made to write self-criticisms for three days.

That was how our grudge began.

To be precise, it was how I began a one-sided grudge against him.

Because Jiang Tingxue did not even remember me!

That made me even angrier.

In a fit of rage, I drew on my many years of self-criticism-writing experience and composed several denunciations of Jiang Tingxue’s “crimes.”

I condemned everything from his arrogant manner, to the dubious purity of his cultivation, to his cold disregard for the young and elderly…

Once I started, I could not stop.

For nearly a century, I insulted Jiang Tingxue without pause.

He remained the same aloof, spotless Sword Venerable, high above the common crowd.

Meanwhile, my pen name – “Sooner or Later I’ll Wreck Jiang Tingxue” – became infamous throughout the Three Realms as his most dedicated anti-fan.

Everyone said, “That woman must love the Sword Venerable with terrifying intensity. After all, the deeper the hate, the deeper the love.”

Me: “…”

The audacity! What woman were they talking about?

The elders knew I spent my time hounding a human cultivator, but they had silently agreed to turn a blind eye.

I used a pen name, after all. No one would discover that “Sooner or Later I’ll Wreck Jiang Tingxue” was the Demon Sovereign, so the Demon Realm’s dignity remained intact.

Besides, letting me write denunciations in the safety of the demon palace was far preferable to letting me run wild outside.

If they had their way, I would keep writing until I finally matured.

But fate had other plans.

Just when they let down their guard, believing Jiang Tingxue would remain an indestructible target for years to come, something happened to him.

I was Sword Venerable Jiang Tingxue’s most devoted anti-fan.

I spent nearly a century slandering him from the shadows, yet he never once noticed me.

Then his cultivation was...
