The Bedroom door creaked as it was pushed open, leaving a small gap.
Slowly, through that gap, a ferocious, bloodshot pair of Eyes appeared.
Like a voyeur, the Husband stood there with a chilling smile, silently watching Jiang Li.
If Jiang Li hadn’t woken up early, what awaited her would have been a long, drawn-out surveillance.
At this moment, the Husband was like a predator, his face full of smiles, silently and greedily staring at his prey.
Jiang Li instinctively clenched her palm.
After a while, the Husband finally spoke.
“W-wife…” His tone rose, as if suppressing an intense excitement.

“Come out quickly, I’ve prepared something good for you,” the Husband continued.
Jiang Li felt her scalp tingle and replied, “Okay, I’ll come out right away.”
The Husband curled his lips, closed the Bedroom door, and retreated.

She tidied herself up briefly.
Before leaving the Bedroom, she deliberately held the Red Infant and thoroughly checked the entire room.
Finally, she found the third rule slip under the bed.
Outside the door, an urgent knocking sounded.
Jiang Li glanced quickly at the rules, not reading them in detail.
She then left the Bedroom with the Red Infant.
Jiang Li walked into the Living Room and saw the Husband standing in front of a full-length mirror, fiddling with a white Nurse Uniform.
The Nurse Uniform was torn to shreds, covered in bloodstains everywhere.
Jiang Li even suspected that the Husband had stripped this “dirty garment” from the person who was chopped up last night.
“Wife, this is a new dress I’m giving you-a gift for your return to work. How is it? Do you like it? Try it on!”
The Husband handed her the Nurse Uniform.
Jiang Li’s mouth twitched.
This dress was full of holes and gaping tears-wearing it outside would be no different from running around naked.
“What’s wrong, you… don’t like it?”

The smile on the Husband’s face began to fade bit by bit.

While speaking, Jiang Li noticed through the mirror that behind her, at a slight angle, stood the old woman in a bright red burial gown.
The old woman was neither too close nor too far from Jiang Li-about an arm’s length away, close enough to touch.
She twisted her neck and tilted her head at Jiang Li, giving a crooked smile.
Jiang Li only glanced at her briefly, then pretended not to see her at all.
“Wife, wear this to work today.”
“Go and change out of those long sleeves and pants.”
The Husband pointed at Jiang Li’s outfit and reminded her.
Jiang Li smiled and replied, “Okay,” then returned to the Bedroom to change.
The Bedroom wasn’t entirely safe at this moment.
But with the Red Infant present, those ghostly things only dared to peek secretly, not to approach recklessly.
Jiang Li held the tattered Nurse Uniform, hesitating whether to put it on.
Inside the open wardrobe in front of her, there was a set of prepared lingerie.
Jiang Li glanced at the lingerie… and froze awkwardly.
Wearing that lingerie was practically the same as wearing nothing at all.
So, this tattered dress-should she change into it, or not?

But if she refused to wear this Nurse Uniform, that would be going against her Husband’s wishes.
If her Husband flew into a rage, it would be perfectly normal for him to kill her.

Jiang Li stood in place, making no further move.
Red Infant also noticed her inner turmoil.
“Mommy, if you don’t want to wear it, then don’t. If he tries anything, I’ll smash his head in!”
Red Infant had a hot-tempered nature.
Jiang Li gave a bitter smile.
If this were just an ordinary skirt, it wouldn’t matter if she refused to wear it. But this happened to be a Nurse Uniform-a work uniform.
Not wearing her work clothes to the job might immediately trigger a Death Ending.

Then, she did something unexpected.
Instead of taking off her long-sleeved shirt and pants, she put the Nurse Uniform directly over them.

But the massive tears in the uniform still exposed the clothes she wore underneath.
Red Infant reminded her, “Mommy, if you wear it like this, it’s obvious at a glance.”
“There are so many holes in this dress-it’s really clear you didn’t take off your clothes.”
Red Infant scratched his head in frustration.
Hearing this, Jiang Li chuckled softly.
She asked, “Baby, do you remember what that man said just now?”
Red Infant nodded, “I remember.”
“When he handed you the dress, he said: ‘Wife, this is the new dress I got for you-today’s reinstatement…'”
Red Infant suddenly stopped.
In that instant, he realized something. Suddenly, everything clicked!
What the man said was: this is a new dress!
To the man, after being polluted, this Nurse Uniform wasn’t torn at all-it was brand new.
So all the gaping holes in the Nurse Uniform were invisible to him!
