Chapter 1

Shi Ye went rigid. Two golden tiger ears popped out atop his head, twitching uncontrollably, while his tail stiffened behind him.

Shi Zhou was a white tiger. Shi Ye was a golden one.

With wicked intent, I kept my arms looped around Shi Ye from behind. I measured his waist with my embrace-it was surprisingly lean-then slowly trailed my fingers up over his full pectorals.

He tensed harder with every movement. The tips of his ears turned so red they looked ready to drip blood.

At last, I announced my findings in an unhurried voice. “Your chest is two centimeters bigger, your waist is one centimeter smaller, and your hips have gained a centimeter too.”

“Honey, your body is simply irresistible.”

The blush spread from the tips of Shi Ye’s ears all the way down his neck. He bit his lip, fighting to keep even a gasp from escaping.

“Say something, honey.” I poked his chest.

“Don’t… put your hands all over me.”

Shi Ye must have taken a voice-altering potion beforehand. His voice sounded eighty percent like Shi Zhou’s; the remaining twenty percent was the youthful note that belonged to him alone.

“Your voice sounds a little strange today.”

I moved around to face him and brushed my fingers over his Adam’s apple. “But…”

Rising on my toes, I pressed my warm lips to his throat. “It sounds especially good.”

Shi Ye sprang away like a startled bird, shot through the door, and plunged headfirst into the snowbank outside.

I stared for a second, then broke into a mischievous smile.

[Little brother just left the tutorial village and immediately ran into a wicked woman like Cannon-Fodder Girl. Bet his little hook is about to explode.]

[Shi Ye could never fall for Cannon-Fodder Girl. Since when does a die-hard shipper fall for the rival love interest?]

[Shi Ye hates the cannon fodder who ruined his brother and sister-in-law’s romance. If he ever wants her that way, I’ll eat crap.]

[Poster above, if that’s what you want, you can just eat it now. No need to wait.]

Shi Ye rolled through the snow several times. Only after he had thoroughly cooled himself down did he come back inside.

“Honey, bring me some water and wash my feet,” I ordered.

He had encouraged his brother to deceive me. It was only fair that the younger brother pay the elder brother’s debt.

“Fine.”

Shi Ye was remarkably obedient. Before long, he returned with a wooden basin of water.

I slipped off my shoes and extended a foot toward him.

His palms were even broader than Shi Zhou’s, making my foot look tiny in his hand. He must have handled weapons for years, because the thin calluses on his palm felt slightly rough against my skin.

With a chilly expression, he knelt on one knee, lowered my foot into the warm water, and carefully washed it.

“The polish on my toenails must be fading. Repaint them for me,” I said without the slightest hesitation.

Shi Ye evidently thought I was too much trouble. His brow furrowed. “You’re blind. What’s the point of painting your toenails?”

Displeased, I planted my foot on his chest. “You never used to talk to me like that!”

“Mmm…”

Tiger beastmen had intensely yang constitutions. They feared heat, not cold. Since Shi Ye believed I could not see him, he had not bothered to wear a shirt.

And my foot had landed just a little too low-right on the most naked part of him.

Shi Ye fled in mortified panic. “I’ll go find the nail polish…”

Well. That time truly had been an accident.

That night, Shi Ye and I slept in the same bed.

I rolled over to reach for the water on his bedside table and happened to see him messaging his brother.

[Shi Zhou, what kind of life have you been living? My heart aches for you.]

I was just about to tell my beastman husband that my sight had returned when I overheard his younger brother trying to persuade him.

“Shi Zhou, you may have lost your memory, but Yue...
