Dim yellow light spilled across the room.

A mature, imposing man sat on the bed. Smooth lines of muscle defined his bare torso, while old scars overlapped from his shoulders to his lower abdomen, adding a dangerous edge to his masculine appeal.

At present, both his wrists were cuffed to the headboard, leaving him unable to move.

He lifted his eyelids and fixed his dark gaze on me.

“Li Zhexue, you’ve completely lost your mind.”

Proud, fierce, and commanding, he radiated the authority of a man accustomed to power.

My heart raced as I stood in the doorway.

I pressed my lips together, then offered him my most ingratiating smile.

“How could I, with Big Brother here to keep me in line?”

Li Yuan had boarded a flight from New York the day after learning that Li Ruoyu and I had been switched at birth.

The moment he landed, I tricked him into coming here.

There was nothing in my closet large enough for him.

For the past two days, I’d been scurrying back and forth like an ant, stocking the villa with supplies.

I set down my schoolbag and unpacked everything one item at a time.

Two cartons of blueberries. A bunch of bananas. Three bottles of whole milk. Two loaves of bread.

Two changes of loungewear.

One package of men’s XL boxer briefs.

And several small square plastic boxes decorated with strawberries.

Strawberry flavored. Ultra-thin.

The moment Big Brother saw those boxes, his face darkened.

“Why did you buy those?”

I peeked at him through my lashes.

“I want you to teach me how to use them.”

The basement remained utterly silent for five full seconds.

Li Yuan laughed in disbelief.

“I’m your brother.”

I puffed out my cheeks.

“Not by blood.”

His jaw tightened, a storm brewing across his face.

“You really have gone insane.”

“I watched you grow up. How could you do something this outrageous?”

I smiled helplessly and shook my head.

“Is that so, Big Brother? Then perhaps you don’t know me as well as you think.”
