Ye Wenxuan’s face was deathly pale, his eyes red-rimmed. He clenched his jaw, his expression turning almost ferocious. “You mean Xiaolei… had his kidney harvested?”

Song Feifei sucked in a sharp breath. “His… his kidney?”

My heart aching, I picked up the Soul-Tracking Doll that had split in two and nodded.

“We have to find Xiaolei’s body first. Only then can we keep searching for his other organs.”

Song Feifei slapped the table and sprang to her feet. “Are they even human? This is outrageous! Lingzhu! We have to uphold justice and catch the murderer!”
