What?
A threesome? That was revolting.
Without giving me a say, Xie Ting pulled me into the room.
He bent to kiss me, and I shoved him away hard.
My eyes swept the room.
Where was Su Tao? Where had he hidden her?
And something else was odd. Why hadn’t I passed out this time?
Perhaps an NPC had no right to investigate on her own and could only wait for the main character to “show” her?
NPCs really did have lower access privileges…
“Pei Xue, what are you looking for?”
Xie Ting leaned against the sofa, his voice thick with suppressed irritation.
He’d tugged his shirt open, exposing beautifully defined collarbones.
He wasn’t wearing his glasses. The corners of his eyes were flushed, and when his gaze struck mine, there was an aggression in it that he normally kept hidden.
He looked like a bow drawn to its limit.
“At the banquet just now, someone got me…”
Still opening the dressing room to check, I answered absently:
“If you’ve been drugged, go to the hospital. Or call your private doctor. Why haven’t you?”
Silence fell behind me.
Less than two seconds later, an overwhelming force knocked me onto the thick carpet!
The back of my head bumped down, but his hand cushioned it, so it didn’t hurt.
Then his burning mouth came down hard, his tongue invading, almost stealing all my breath.
Suddenly, cool air hit my skin.
I sucked in a breath.
His kisses were so hard and urgent that he nearly drew blood at the corner of my mouth.
He began kissing his way lower.

I’d had enough. I slapped him across the face.
Then I asked coldly:
“Xie Ting, have you no shame?”
His head turned with the blow. He went still.
Finger marks stood out clearly against his pale cheek.
His eyes were dark as deep pools, churning with emotions I couldn’t understand.
Then he laughed softly, the sound hoarse and dangerous.
“Pleasing you is shameless?”
“Pleasing”?
The word collided with that comment: “The part where he pleasures our girl had me blushing.”
Disgusting.
Just then, the comments flared with righteous indignation again.
[Male lead, what are you thinking?! If you’ve been drugged, you should find our girl! What are you doing holding your wife?!]
[What’s so great about the wife?! Our pink, juicy girl is your antidote! Go! Find! Her! Get! Your! Cure!]
[Noooo, I don’t want to see him being unfaithful! His body and soul should belong to our girl alone! My pure-love heart can’t take it!]
Those vicious comments truly sickened me.
I stared at Xie Ting in disgust, my voice cold as ice.
“Xie Ting. Let’s get divorced.”
