“The first scene is a bed scene.”
The director gave me the rundown.
“It’s going to be pretty explicit. You’ll probably have to take everything off.”
“Don’t worry. We’ll clear the set when the time comes.”
Outwardly, I nodded with perfect composure.
Inside, I was wailing.
No one told me before I joined the cast that this drama was going to be this intense!
The director saw the confusion on my face, leaned in, and lowered his voice.
“The script was changed at the request of the other lead.”
The corner of my mouth twitched.
Thirty-two kiss scenes. After filming all that, would my mouth even have any feeling left?
While I was silently ranting, the door of the van behind me slid open with a whoosh.
Against the light, a tall, slender figure stepped out.
He wore a silver haute couture suit with dark jacquard patterns.
He practically radiated wealth and status.
The moment his face appeared, the crowd watching from outside the set erupted into a tidal wave of screams.
Xi Sheng?
Wait, why was a top-tier celebrity like him filming a BL drama?
Xi Sheng walked up to me with a brilliant smile, bent slightly, and reached out to shake my hand.
“Hello, Teacher Ji. I’m very happy to be working with you.”
My mind went blank. Because I was nervous, my face stayed completely expressionless.
I also reached out and shook his hand.
“Mm. Looking forward to working with you.”
Why did this scene feel a little strange?
After we shook hands, the tips of Xi Sheng’s ears were a little red.
From inside that custom suit worth over a hundred thousand yuan, he pulled out a bottle of banana milk and handed it to me.
I froze.
How did he know I liked this?
“Thanks.”
I took it, bit down on the straw, and sucked in a big mouthful. The sweetness washed away some of my nerves.
Xi Sheng also opened a bottle of banana milk.
His long fingers “accidentally” loosened, and the straw fell to the ground with a patter.
“Can I use your straw?”
He blinked at me with a pair of droopy puppy-dog eyes, looking extremely sincere and innocent.
“Go ahead.”
I pulled the straw out of my bottle and handed it to him.
His fingertips brushed across my palm as he took the straw and pierced open the bottle.
It was such a simple motion, yet somehow he made it ridiculously pleasing to watch.
He pressed his lips to the straw and took a gentle sip.
All the while, he kept staring at me with those shimmering eyes.
“Mm. It’s good.”
The base of my ears heated up.
Did this count as an indirect kiss?
If he just poked a hole in the seal with the straw, couldn’t he drink straight from the bottle?
Why did he have to suck on the straw I’d used?
Xi Sheng’s Adam’s apple bobbed. The moment he swallowed the milk, his eyes narrowed, as if he had just tasted the most delicious thing in the world.
After he finished drinking, Xi Sheng asked, “Do you still want this straw?”
I shook my head.
“I’ll just drink straight from the bottle.”
Xi Sheng was in an excellent mood.
“Then I’ll keep-cough. Then I’ll take it with me.”
I nodded stiffly.
His fans were calling him over to sign autographs.
Xi Sheng answered them.
Then he turned and jogged over, his long legs straight and slender, carrying him far away in just a few steps.
I lowered my head and glanced at the straw he’d dropped on the ground.
It still had the plastic wrapper on it. If he opened it, it would’ve been perfectly usable, right?
Just then, my assistant Xiao Zhao popped out of nowhere.
“Brother Sheng ordered coffee for the whole crew, but only Brother Xun got banana milk!”
“And it’s the exact brand you said was your favorite on Weibo!”
Xiao Zhao narrowed her eyes. A pretty young girl somehow managed to put on an utterly sleazy expression.
“If you love him, give him milk~”
I choked on a mouthful of banana milk.
Then pretended not to understand the filthy implication.
“Stop reading all that random nonsense.”
