When I was charging my phone, the screen unlocked automatically, and what caught my eye was the annoying 99+ in the upper left corner of the Mutual Friends Group.

To look or not to look, that is the question.

I lightly ground my molars and tapped in.

Who knows, maybe there would be some unexpected discovery.

And sure enough, I stumbled upon something interesting.

Below Lu Che’s voice message, which sounded so angry he could jump, there was an ID called “Young Master Zhao” who had also sent several voice messages in a row.

The rest of the voice messages were basically all in this tone, using Gu Siyin to put me down.

Although he didn’t mention me by name, it felt like every sentence was a veiled jab.

This person clearly has a lot of hostility toward me.

I scrolled through his Moments, and most of it was photos flaunting wealth.

I thought about it for a long time, but really couldn’t recall ever offending him. We should have never crossed paths, except for that one time I saw his name mentioned in the group and learned he was studying abroad.

Right now, Young Master Zhao was chatting away happily in the group.

JONI: “Zhimeng’s birthday is coming up soon, Young Master Zhao, don’t forget to buy us gifts~”

Nidie: “What are you barking about?”
