The next morning during self-study, I finally saw my five teammates who always stuck together.

With me, there were six of us-three women and three men.

“You’re actually still alive?” said a woman in a black tank top, looking me over with contempt. “I thought we’d be picking up your corpse.”

“Ah, I’m so envious of how strong you are, sister. Unlike me, I still need others to protect me,” I sighed. “Sister, I can tell-you’re the only one who’s truly kind to me and willing to protect me.”

“Are you out of your mind? Who would want to protect you? So disgusting!” Zhao Ying rolled her eyes at me.

“Zhao Ying, don’t say things like that. We’re teammates now,” said a refined man in a plaid shirt. He extended his hand to me with a friendly smile. “Hello, I’m Cheng Jing, a programmer. My achievement is cracking the main system in the last wasteland world. If you need my skills, just ask.”

“Li Ye, underground boxer,” said the scar-faced man beside him, giving Cheng Jing a sideways glance. “Maxed out in physical skills.”

“Song An, security guard,” said the crew-cut guy simply. “Very strong.”

“Hua Jin, florist.” The girl in the white dress looked me over cautiously. “I can lower teammates’ Horror Value and prevent anyone from breaking down.”

“I…” Zhao Ying seemed to remember the rule about not lying. “Zhao Ying, professional journalist. SSS-cleared ten A-level instances.”

Once everyone had introduced themselves, they noticed a cup of warm Green Tea already placed before each of them.

I looked at everyone expectantly:

“After all that talking, aren’t you thirsty?

The water’s just the right temperature.”

[This woman is damn considerate!]

[Why am I suddenly getting butterflies?]

[Turns out I don’t dislike Green Tea-I just don’t like Green Tea that doesn’t flirt with me.]

[It’s just Green Tea tactics. She wants to latch onto five big shots.]

Finally, everyone turned to me and asked what my specialty was.

Oh no, I was so focused on pouring tea that I forgot it was my turn.

I’m the cheerful, sunny little Green Tea.

…My teammates exchanged glances, incredulous:

“What about your game achievements?”

I answered proudly:

“Cleared every romance game with all achievements, reached ninety-nine harem endings, and gave every heartbroken boy a home.

As for skills… I have an excellent memory-I remember all the target characters’ birthdays.”

I saw the live comments go wild:

[I’m betting this little Green Tea will die first.]

[System error? Why is a romance game player in a horror game?]

[Is this a horror game or a girls’ high school drama? Your Green Tea tricks won’t work here.]

I scratched my head and smiled shyly:

“…It’s not like I haven’t unlocked the yuri ending either.”

Hearing my skills, everyone’s expressions grew complicated.

No one wanted to be the first to accept me into the team.

Cheng Jing eventually stepped forward, his smile as warm as a spring breeze:

“Xu Xin, the Faculty Dormitory’s recovery point has limited slots, and you arrived late-there’s nothing we can do. But during the day, we’ll investigate together as a team. Before the exam, all information will be shared with you. We’ll clear the instance together. How does that sound?”

I nodded, looking at Cheng Jing with admiration in my eyes:

“Then I’ll entrust both my heart and soul to you, brother Cheng Jing.

Brother, you’ll always protect Xin’er, right?”

Cheng Jing wasn’t quite used to my Green Tea persona-he paused for a moment, then smiled and nodded.

[Brother Cheng Jing is super gentle and reliable!]

[Let me play the dead Green Tea for one episode! I want to stick to brother Cheng Jing!]

The girl in the white dress, Hua Jin, thought for a moment, then mustered up her courage and tugged my sleeve.

She clearly wasn’t used to talking to strangers; blushing, she handed me a Talisman:

“Sister Xu Xin, this can lower your Horror Value.”

In horror games, a lot of newcomers die from fright right at the start.

[Ahhh! Hua Jin is such an angel!]

[Her healing skill suits her so perfectly!]

[Hua Jin, come here and let mommy give you a kiss!]

“Sorry about yesterday. I was just too scared, so I stuck with everyone else and left you alone.”

I put away the Talisman and pinched Hua Jin’s cheek.

“Cheng Jing, don’t be generous with other people’s information. I refuse to share anything with this Green Tea bitch.”

Zhao Ying gave me a cold look and turned to leave.

Cheng Jing wanted to mediate, but I tugged his sleeve:

“It’s okay, brother Cheng Jing. I don’t want you and sister Zhao Ying to argue because of me.

Let’s just give sister Zhao Ying a little time. She’s so understanding-she’ll definitely accept me, okay?”
