“Lady Tiyati, it’s time to get up.”

As soon as I opened my eyes, I saw a blonde, blue-eyed girl standing by my bed, dressed exquisitely, looking just like a beautiful porcelain doll.

“Sili, I really envy you.”

I sighed as I got out of bed.

Forced to wake up early, I could no longer empathize with the me from yesterday.

All my passion for work vanished in an instant.

We’re all Anomalies, so why does our kind still need to ensure enough sleep like humans?

It doesn’t make sense.

Sili smiled as she helped me get dressed, her voice gentle: “Every Anomaly has its own habits and weaknesses. It’s unavoidable. You are already very impressive.”

“You’re right.”

I straightened the dusty hem of my skirt. “Are you planning to stay in the room again today? Won’t you be bored?”

“Not at all. With Little Rabbit keeping me company, we’re very happy together.”

Sili looked tenderly at the split-eared Little Rabbit on the chair.

“Alright.” I respected her wishes.

Sili saw me to the door and gave me a hug before we parted: “Have fun, Lady Tiyati.”

“Squeak-”

The Little Bat flapped in the air, screeching as it circled us, as if scolding Sili and complaining to me.

The scolding was for Sili, the complaint for me.

I sighed, caught it, and smoothed its fur a couple of times.

The Little Bat immediately quieted down: “Squeak~”

“Please forgive its rudeness.”

I took out a crystal and handed it to Sili: “Put this on Little Rabbit. It’s good for it.”

Sili accepted it with both hands, overjoyed: “Thank you, Lady Tiyati.”

Her whole face flushed with excitement, her sapphire eyes sparkling.

“I’m glad you like it.” My voice rose slightly, as if I was happy for her happiness too.

The door soon closed. I glanced at the spot where someone was hiding, the corners of my lips lifting, and with the slightly struggling Little Bat in hand, I went downstairs from another direction.

There was a shortage of staff in the Ancient Castle, so Players had to cook their own meals in the kitchen.

As a Maid, I was no exception.

The kitchen had more tomatoes than anything else.

I casually grabbed two, washed them, and handed the smaller one to the Little Bat.

While it munched away, I wrapped sliced tomato in lettuce, added some salad dressing, and ate elegantly with a knife and fork.

The Little Bat had eaten more than half before it realized, standing by the plate with its wet face, its tiny red eyes darting back and forth as if pondering something.

But soon, after I carefully wiped its face and hands when it finished eating, the complicated look in its eyes cleared up at once.

Pulling my finger free from its sticky embrace, I placed it on my shoulder.

“Let’s go. The real show is just about to begin.”
