The other end of the phone suddenly fell silent.

I didn’t speak again either.

I roughly calculated in my mind.

It still seemed safer to have the cremation in the afternoon and the burial on the same day.

This feng shui treasure “grave”-I was determined to get it!

But that meant I had to make sure:

After I die, someone would come to collect my body immediately.

Not even half a day could be wasted.

Gritting my teeth, I picked up the phone lying next to the bathtub.

I sent a message to the pinned WeChat group chat:

[Yuan: Family, I’m planning to commit suicide.]

[Yuan: Could I trouble anyone who’s free to come back and help collect my body?]

[Yuan: @Everyone.]

I didn’t mention Stomach Cancer at all, just sent the messages.

Only a dozen seconds later, I got a notification: [Dad has left the group chat].

With a bitter smile, I lowered my eyes, thinking:

“Just as well. Once the arrangements for collecting my body are made, I’ll dissolve the group too.”

After all… they have another family group chat.

A family group chat without me.

On the other end of the phone, Gu Lin coughed lightly and spoke up.

His tone was a complex mix of shock, hesitation, and caution:

“Miss Lu is joking… right?”

Fresh blood happened to flow down my wrist to my elbow.

It dripped onto the surface of the bathwater, making a crisp “plop” sound.

That was my answer.

The other end of the phone fell silent again in an instant.

Then, the next second, the wind in the background suddenly grew much louder.

But I didn’t pay attention to it.

Because the dizziness in front of my eyes was getting worse.

The group chat was still quiet; no one replied.

I pressed my lips together, then simply took a photo of my bloody, mangled wrist and sent it:

[Yuan: Sorry, there’s nothing I can do.]

[Yuan: The cemetery is fighting over spots-it’s really urgent.]

[Yuan: Just respond to me this once, the last time, okay?]

Buzz.

A few seconds later, my phone vibrated softly.

Unexpectedly, someone replied-

[Eldest Brother: 1.]

On the third day after being diagnosed with Stomach Cancer, I chose a grave for myself.

They say the feng shui is especially good.

It’s supposed to bless me so that in my next...
