Though it was phrased as a question, his tone was one of certainty.

But I wasn’t about to admit it.
I simply gave a weak smile, adopting the spineless attitude of someone who had nothing left to lose. “I wouldn’t know.”
Jiang Xiubai clicked his tongue in annoyance.
But he didn’t press the matter any further.
