Seeing the comments flooding the Live Streaming Room, Li Yi was left speechless-was he really that terrifying?

They made him out to be like the very spokesperson of Black and White Impermanence, roaming the world, killing Ghosts and mortals alike without discrimination.

“Don’t be obsessed with Brother Li, I’m just a legend.”

Li Yi said this with a serious face, once again triggering a wave of playful mockery in the Live Streaming Room.

There was a reaction.

As he walked into a room, the Talisman Paper shone brightly once more. Li Yi knew this was another sign that a Ghost had been detected.

He just didn’t know which of the three family members it would be.

In the darkness, Li Yi’s Yin-Yang Eyes flashed with a keen light, quickly pinpointing the exact location of the Ghost.

It was right behind the door of the room before him. Apparently, it was hoping to launch a surprise attack just as he entered.

This was truly a Fierce Ghost with no sense of honor.

The corners of Li Yi’s mouth curled into a mysterious arc. Ambush him? Not a chance.

Without another word, Li Yi suddenly kicked the door hard, the loud noise reverberating.

At this moment, the audience in the Live Streaming Room also spotted the Fierce Ghost behind the door.

The funny thing was, Li Yi’s actions had completely caught the Fierce Ghost off guard.

At that very instant, it was crouched against the door, its lifeless Ghostly eyes filled with confusion.

Is this how you open a door? What normal person opens a door like this?

Anyone unaware would think you were part of the anti-vice squad on a raid.

“Hey there, the community’s here to deliver benefits.”

Before this pitiful Fierce Ghost could react, Li Yi had already whipped out his Seven Wolves Belt from his waist and delivered a righteous beating-‘filial piety for Ghosts, served with a heavy stick’.

Smack, smack, smack.

A fierce thrashing almost knocked the Fierce Ghost out cold right there.

What’s going on? Which one of us is the Ghost here?

The Fierce Ghost was dumbfounded.

“Spare me, hero! Spare me, hero!”

The Fierce Ghost dropped to its knees on the spot, pressing its palms together and bowing repeatedly.

A flicker of surprise flashed through Li Yi’s eyes-he hadn’t expected this Fierce Ghost to be quite high-level, having even retained its consciousness from life.

Not every Fierce Ghost could achieve this. In all the time since Li Yi transmigrated, he’d only encountered two Fierce Ghosts with intelligence.

One was Zhang Na, the other was the Ghost Behind the Door right before him.

The Ghost Behind the Door appeared as a pot-bellied middle-aged man wearing large gold-rimmed glasses, looking quite refined.

Except there was a gaping hole as thick as an arm at the back of his head, passing right through his skull. From this angle, you could even see the bloody, cloudy matter within.

“What’s your name?”

After nearly beating the Ghost Behind the Door’s spirit to dispersal with the Ghost-whipping Belt, Li Yi finally stopped and asked.

He always did things cautiously, never giving enemies any chance to retaliate.

Let alone when the opponent was a Ghost-there was absolutely no need for any ‘human rights’.

The living and the dead are, by nature, mortal enemies.

“My name is Zhang Han.” The Ghost Behind the Door wiped nonexistent cold sweat from his brow in fear. This man had such an overwhelming presence-before him, Zhang Han felt like he was back to being a weak and helpless living person.

“Zhang Han? You’re Zhang Na’s father?” Li Yi’s gaze turned cold; in his heart, the answer was already clear.

The Fierce Ghost’s face was smeared with blood, making it impossible to recognize at first glance.

“That’s right, may I ask, maste-ouch, please, don’t hit me, don’t-ah… ahhh!”

Before the Ghost Behind the Door could finish, Li Yi’s electric beating had already resumed.

Zhang Na’s father-he was beating Zhang Na’s father.

Such a person, with no sense of right or wrong, didn’t even deserve to exist as a Ghost.

[“The Fierce Ghost Zhang Han feels humiliated. He decides to summon the Ghost Artifact hidden beside the door to launch a sneak attack on you. You decide to…”]
[“Option One: What kind of impressive Ghost Artifact could a mere Ghost Behind the Door possibly possess? Simply ignore it. Task reward: Universal 50 Glue, able to bind dispersed spirit bodies.”]

[“Option Two: Turn the tables-at the moment the Ghost Behind the Door attacks, counter-kill it. Task reward: Luxury Supreme Coffin Board Set, cultivates yin to form a jiangshi, an essential choice for burial.”]

[“Option Three: Summon the Yin Five Thunders for an indiscriminate attack on the room. Task reward: Ghost-Sealing Scroll. Any ghost listed can become your most reliable aid.”]

Interesting.

Li Yi looked at the Ghost Behind the Door groveling and begging on the floor, finding it hard to believe that its mind was set on figuring out how to kill him. The human heart is frightening, and a ghost with a human heart is even more terrifying.

As for the System’s prompts, Li Yi had more or less figured out the pattern: whenever facing danger, or a critical choice, the System’s prompt box would appear.

Usually, it would present two or three options.

Two options meant things were relatively simple, but three meant that this choice would affect his life.

This Ghost Behind the Door wasn’t as simple as it seemed.

Li Yi’s eyes narrowed dangerously.

He formed a hand seal-the Yin Five Thunders.

The Yin Five Thunders technique was very simple: just a gesture, and storm clouds gathered instantly overhead.

Lightning struck, and the entire hospital was briefly lit up as if it were daylight.

The Ghost Behind the Door immediately sensed something was wrong. Realizing its sneak attack had been exposed, its ferocious side was revealed at once.

Gone was the trembling, pitiful appearance from before. Its face twisted with malice, like an Evil Ghost crawling out from the Nine Netherworlds.

But the lightning was faster. It instantly engulfed the whole room in an indiscriminate barrage.

Li Yi, as the summoner of the lightning, was unaffected by the residual force of the Yin Five Thunders.

But the Ghost Behind the Door was not so lucky-it was blasted to oblivion on the spot. This was what it truly meant to be struck by the Five Thunders Technique.

At this moment, Li Yi sensed something unusual: there was an object in the room resisting his Yin Five Thunders.

He quickly located the item-a long, leather scroll, ancient in style, not something from this era.

The scroll exuded thick yin energy, radiating a bone-chilling cold. Under the assault of the Yin Five Thunders, not only did it remain intact, but it slowly began to unfurl.

Just looking at the scroll gave Li Yi a sense of foreboding.

He absolutely could not let the scroll fully open, or something life-threatening would occur.

“System, claim the reward!”

He did not hesitate and quickly claimed the System’s reward.

A mysterious power appeared, gradually binding the scroll and rendering it ordinary. It fell into his hand.

This is the Ghost-Sealing Scroll?

Li Yi looked at the long scroll in his hand with lingering fear.

He had never expected that the Ghost Behind the Door actually wielded such a terrifying Ghost Artifact. There was no way a Fierce Ghost of its level could have created something like this.

To put it simply, a Ghost Artifact is a magical tool made by ghosts.

But any Fierce Ghost capable of forging a Ghost Artifact was certainly an ultimate being whose true strength was unfathomable.

How could it appear here?

With the Ghost-Sealing Scroll in hand, the function of the scroll automatically appeared in Li Yi’s mind, and he instantly understood the truth.
